i got 533 in neet 2020 i m from telangana can i get college ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Oct, 2020
Hi

You have not mentioned the category you belong to, so I am  assuming  you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that with 533 marks   you hold  a good chance in following Medical College under Telangana state quota:-

  • GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, NALGONDA
  • GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, SURYAPET
  • GOVT MEDICAL COLLEGE, MAHABUBNAGAR

And a few more

To get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

with 491 marks in neet 2020 SC category AP are there any chances of getting a seat in RMC kakinada

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 13th Oct, 2020

In 2019, under State Quota, 481 marks secured a seat in Rangaraya Medical College under SC Category. That was the cut off. With a score of 491 you do have borderline chances. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. 611 mark neet 2020 expected state rank gn male category in uttar pradesh

Soumili Majumdar 13th Oct, 2020
Hello there,
With 611 marks, your All India Rank will be around 5000 to 6600 approximately. Your state rank can be expected to be within 1000 approximately. Since you are from the general category, you have good chances of getting a seat in government medical college with this rank. You should apply for state counseling. Also note that the cut-off rank changes every year depending on the difficulty of the paper, and the number of candidates appearing for it. This link may help you:

Hello career 360 I am getting 380 marks in neet 2020 from general category, is there any chances to get MBBS college?

Anurag pal Student Expert 13th Oct, 2020

Hey dear, cutoff varies every year, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get a govt. College for mbbs. But, your score seems very less for getting a govt. Mbbs seat under any quota. Although, you have chances for bams and bhms courses, stay tuned to the counselling. I am scoring 446(gen category) in neet 2020...i m getting admission into gmers in mq and other private colleges in gq whose fees are the same...so which should be my priority gmers or other private college?

Poulomi choudhuri 15th Oct, 2020

Hello student,

If you are getting gmers Medical College you can go for it, or you can wait till the mop up round of counselling gets over. If you get any better private college than gmers then you can choose that also. Suppose, you are getting Ramaiah medical College then you can choose that also.

can i apply for both exserviceman quota and sports quota in neet 2020 counselling ?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 13th Oct, 2020

Yes. These reservations are not available under All India Counselling and so depending on the State that you hold the domicile of, you can certainly select both options during State Counselling. The admissions will be based on merit cum preference considering these two quotas as well. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

Safe score for neet 2020 for general category?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 13th Oct, 2020

This depends on your target College and whether you have its State domicile or not. For example, if you look at UP, in 2018, under State Quota, 469 marks was the cut offs for General Category and that score was alotted a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lphiya Medical College. In 2019, under State Quota, 575 was the cut off and those marks secured a seat in GMC Bahraich. There was an increase of cut offs by 150 marks. Thats a massive increase. So this is how cut offs fluctuate. And for 2020, UP might see more or less atleast 580  as a cut off for General Category. For a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

my score is around 470 in neet 2020. can i get A-category Or government mbbs seat in andhra pradesh under female quota and Bc-b reservation?

Kuheli Sanyal 13th Oct, 2020

Hey,

With 470 marks, you may get a rank between 65801-73197. You can check it here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank

Last year the cut off for BCB under 85% State Quota in Andhra Pradesh was a rank of 64863 in AU region and 59577 in SVU region. So based on this, it is quite difficult for you the get a medical seat under 85% State Quota in Andhra Pradesh. But keep in mind that cut off varies every year.

If you want to get a list of colleges in which you may get a MBBS/BDS seat, you can use NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
