In 2019, under State Quota, 481 marks secured a seat in Rangaraya Medical College under SC Category. That was the cut off. With a score of 491 you do have borderline chances. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Hey dear, cutoff varies every year, if you see the last year's cutoff which went very high that even students getting 500 marks were unable to get a govt. College for mbbs. But, your score seems very less for getting a govt. Mbbs seat under any quota. Although, you have chances for bams and bhms courses, stay tuned to the counselling. Hello student,
If you are getting gmers Medical College you can go for it, or you can wait till the mop up round of counselling gets over. If you get any better private college than gmers then you can choose that also. Suppose, you are getting Ramaiah medical College then you can choose that also.

Yes. These reservations are not available under All India Counselling and so depending on the State that you hold the domicile of, you can certainly select both options during State Counselling. The admissions will be based on merit cum preference considering these two quotas as well. This depends on your target College and whether you have its State domicile or not. For example, if you look at UP, in 2018, under State Quota, 469 marks was the cut offs for General Category and that score was alotted a seat in Dr. Ram Manohar Lphiya Medical College. In 2019, under State Quota, 575 was the cut off and those marks secured a seat in GMC Bahraich. There was an increase of cut offs by 150 marks. Thats a massive increase. So this is how cut offs fluctuate. And for 2020, UP might see more or less atleast 580 as a cut off for General Category. Hey,
With 470 marks, you may get a rank between 65801-73197. You can check it here https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank
Last year the cut off for BCB under 85% State Quota in Andhra Pradesh was a rank of 64863 in AU region and 59577 in SVU region. So based on this, it is quite difficult for you the get a medical seat under 85% State Quota in Andhra Pradesh. But keep in mind that cut off varies every year.
