NEET 2020
Hello,
The qualifying cut off for NEET UG in 2020 was 147- 720 marks and 50th percentile for candidates belonging to general category. You have scored less the qualifying cut off marks so you have not qualified in NEET UG 2020. The qualifying cut off changes every year depending on number of candidates appeared for the entrance exam, difficulty level of exam and total number of seats available etc.
Hi
No, Neet 2020 cut off has not been reduced and it is still at least 147 marks to qualify Neet 2020 for general category
Neet 2020 cut off for different categories is
Category cutoff percentile cut off marks
General/ews 50 720 - 147
UR-PWD 45 146 - 129
Obc/Sc/st 40 146 - 113
So, if you have got 113 marks in neet 2020 then you have failed in NEET examination if you are from general category at least 147 marks is required to qualify Neet 2020 examination, if you belong to OBC SC or St category then with 113 marks you have qualified Neet 2020 examination but it's not sufficient for getting admission in a medical college
So, If you want to pursue medicine, I suggest you to prepare again for Neet examination and don't worry we have Neet knockout program which will help you at every step of your preparation , the link for the same is given below

In neet 2020 , all india Rank of 15000 was near about 610 marks.
And don't worry whatever we say is well supported by enough data :)
Here's the Proof :- In neet 2020 , 15030 all india Rank was obtained by a Candidate with 611 marks.
You can check the same on your own at page number 10 of the pdf, which you can download at
https://cache.careers360.mobi/media/uploads/froala_editor/files/ap-mbbs-candidate-list.pdf
The above link is for the pdf of student list released by Dr NTRUHS, Vijayawada, it has released the student list who had applied for AP state counselling along with their name, all India rank obtained by them in neet, their marks in NEET examination etc.
Now , limited time is left for your neet 2021 examination, so focus on preparation, go through the chapters , practise questions and then revise them, go through mock test papers once you are done with complete syllabus.
We don't have Neet 2020 data for jammu and Kashmir yet but yes In neet 2019 , 375 marks for sc category was the cut off marks/ lowest marks that got a seat in a government medical college under jammu and Kashmir state quota and it was for Government Medical College, Anantnag
You can check the same at
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-j-k/amp#aoh=16105894264090&referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com&_tf=From%20%251%24s
But yes, cut off marks / rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the neet examination, kind of marks obtained by students in neet , toughness level of the neet examination, number of seats available etc.
So , you should try to get at least 50 marks more in comparison of Neet 2019 in your Neet 2021 Examination to be on the safer side, so you should try to get at least 425 marks.
You can take a drop as it doesn't hurt to take time off for studies.
Bams syllabus is quite vast so if you think you can study both together as NEET extrance exam is already difficult so it depends entirely on your capability.
BAMS Syllabus - First Year
Subjects in BAMS covers the topic like modern anatomy, the principle of medicine, Botany principles of surgery and many more.
Bams 1 year subjects
If you want to study you can.
You can choose to do BSc it also has many career scope and less vast syllabus.
Or you can complete bams and then give NEET as the upper age limit has been removed.
Hope this helps!!
My marksheet is up and please admission in Faridabad sector 8
Hello Dear,
Grant Medical collage, Mumbai is one of the prestigious medical colleges of the country. Last year Grant medical college MBBS closed at around AIR 1200 for which the marks were around 610 . This year due to comparatively easy paper the cutoff might be near about 615-20 marks. But as you know the cut off depends upon the number of seats available, the difficulty level of paper and number of candidates writing the examination. And, hence varies every year depending on these factors. For more information about college you can visit the link:
