Yes you are right for a dropper the qualifying marks of equivalent exam mean the marks of 12th board exam and not previous year neet exam or any other course they had applied too.

For eligibility minimum 60% is required for general category and minimum 50% for obc,sc,st categories

NEET is organized by National Testing Agencey (NTA) and the question paper consists of 180 multiple choice questions based on Physics, Chemistry and Biology.NEET is the official entrance test for medical aspirants degrees like MBBS, BDS , BAMS etc.Neet will have 3 Set of question Papers, you can check this

So on such marks and category you have no chances of getting BDS seat through AIQ but yes you can get BDS seat in some Private medical colleges in Telangana under
