i am expecting 500 marks in neet 2020 .i am from west bengal and from unreserved caterory . can i get admission in any state government medical college ?

pdwords Student Expert 16th Sep, 2020
Hello,

As per previous year data under 85% state quota, with your given marks of 500 it'll be difficult to fetch a seat in GMC, as the least score to secure GMC seat last year was 518 in CoochBehar Government Medical College and Hospital, but you can get BDS in government colleges such as Burdwan Medical College, North Bengal Government College, Dr R Ahmed Dental College And Hospital(Kolkata) to name a few.Cut-offs are subjective to change and based on various factors such as number of candidates appearing for exam, top NEET score, seat matrix etc. You can use our NEET College Predictor to know more about admission possibilities in various colleges;

My expected score in neet 2020 is 362. Can I get admission in any of the medical colleges in Bangalore through all India quota(15%) seats

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 16th Sep, 2020

You haven't mentioned your Category. This is important because every Category has different cut offs. With a score of 362, your rank might be approximately between 168240-180534 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . Now regarding the Colleges that you may have a shot at, 362 is a lesser score for a seat under All India Quota, If you belong to Reserved Categories, you may have a chance at Management Quota in Deemed Universities. Having said that, this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Sir I got 170 marks in NEET 2020, I belong to SC category and my home state is Karnataka. Can I get into any government MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, or any veterinary College?

Era Madaria 16th Sep, 2020

Hi Student

It is very difficult to get government colleges with these marks. But you can also try for private colleges of BAMS and BHMS as the fees structure is almost same.

I am sharing a link which contains data from last year cut off

https://www.google.com/amp/s/medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-karnataka/amp

The data is from last year and can change a bit as cut off is different every year depending on many factors like difficulty of examination and number of students giving the exam.
