Mai EWS Categoryse belong karta hu. mera neet 2020 me 320 Marks hai. kya mai CMC VELLORE me admission le shakta hu.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 16th Sep, 2020

With a score of 320, your rank might be approximately between 213657-228146 . This is an expected rank range: https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-result-marks-vs-rank . With this score, it might be difficult for a seat in CMC Vellore. 85 seats are filled through Sponsored Candidates and the rest 15 are available for Open Merit. Which means you need atleast 500 for a seat in CMC, Vellore. Now this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam. Naman Raturi 16th Sep, 2020

Hello There ,

According to your marks and category , it would be little tough to get a medical college based on all india quota . However you can go for your home state counselling as you have good chances to get a government college in your home state . Do apply for your home state counselling also , and fill your preferances properly

I scored around 513 in neet 2020 in EWS category in Uttar Pradesh will i be able to get a government medical college in any state of india If ill be waiting till mop-up round

Dr.Chhavi Srivastava 16th Sep, 2020
Hi , 513 are good marks but it's a little low to get you a seat in government medical college under 85% state quota as last year least marks to secure a seat in uttar pradesh under 85% state quota from your category was 573 marks in autonomous medical college, bahraich, basti and shahjahanpur . So, you won't get a seat in government medical college.you can go for private or deemed colleges .Counselling is divided into two types : 1. 15% all india counselling and 2. 85% state quota . Students have higher chances of getting a seat under state quota and for all india cutoff is very high as compared to state quota . Talking of which remember that cutoff varies every year depending on number of students appearing in exam, difficulty level of exam, students scoring more than you and your category.
