my friend got 235 marks in neet 2020 hes general category will he be able to get govt seat in top college..help pls

Mohammed Faiz 3rd Nov, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

For getting a government seat with NEET score into some of the topmost colleges an candidate should score around 500+ marks for being in the safer zone of securing an seat as this year the cutoff is really high which means even students who scored around 500marks are facing difficulties. Cutoff varies yearly which depends upon numerous factors. As your friend being from General category won't have any chance of securing an government seat into any college as the marks are quite low.

You could advise him that if he's really concerned, he should prepare for NEET 2021 and secure good marks with regard to his category to easily have a good chance of securing a seat.

Below I'm mentioning some resources which would help him in his preparation for NEET 2021, you could recommend your friend the same as below.

Can I get a government seat in neet 2020 telangana with 448 marks and I am a bcb candidate female

Neha samreen 2nd Nov, 2020

Hello.,

As the cutoff varies every year depending on various factors. As you are from general category your cutoff would be really high. As i know i think it would not be possible to get you the government quota. But you have the chances for the management quota seats. But you can try for the 85% state quota seats you might have a chance for admission.

Some of the medical colleges in telangana are

1. Apollo institute of medical sciences

2. Bhaskar medical college., Moinabad

3. Deccan college of medical sciences

4. ESI medical college, sanathnagar etc.

Apply for the admission process you might grab the seat

You can check the link below to know more about the cutoff of the colleges

Candidate, who scored 464 in NEET 2020 is eligible to get A-category seat in Andhra Pradesh or not???

Swetha N 2nd Nov, 2020
Hello dear,

That depends on which category you belong to. As you have not mentioned your category , it is difficult to predict.

Anyway, as per last year data, with 464 marks, you have chances to avail a seat only if you belong to categories SC or ST or BCA or BCE.

For other categories (OC /BCD/BCB/BCC) without any horizontal reservations like CAP, NCC, MSM , it is very difficult to get an A-category medical seat and especially this year as the cut offs raised a little due to easy paper standard it is even more difficult.

You have chances to get a BDS seat in good colleges.

Or you can try for admission under management quota in private medical colleges if you can afford.

Use our neet ug college predictor tool provided below to get a personalised list of top possible colleges in which you have chances of admission based on your rank, category, state etc https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

my score in neet 2020 is 324.I am from SC category.Gujarat domicile. can I get mbbs government quota seat in gujarat?

Shivani sunil kakde 2nd Nov, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

Sorry to say but 324 seems very low score for a SC category candidate to get government medical seat in Gujarat. To get government medical seat in Gujarat through state level quota SC category candidate must atleast score 450 and above marks in NEET. With 324 there are chances to get good private medical colleges  through state level quota.

Some of the colleges which you can expect with your score in Gujarat as per last years cutoff are:

1.Parul Institute of Medical Science and Research, Po: Limda, Ta: Waghodiya, Dist: Vadodara

2.Zydus Medical College and Hospital, Dahod

3.Dr. N.D. Desai Faculty of Medical Science and Research, Nadiad

4.Nootan Medical College and Research Centre, Visnagar

5.Shantabai Medical College, Amreli

Hope this information helps you.

Thank you

I got 409 marks in neet 2020 with

mjaisinghani62 2nd Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant

You have not mentioned your category. You are from Karnataka and with 409 marks in NEET you may get private college under state quota. Based on 2019 cut off trend you may have chance in khwaja Bands Nawaz Institute of Medical Sciences, Gulbarga

Al- ameen Medical College, vijaypur

SDM college of Medical Sciences DHARWAD

Cut off changes every year and depends upon number of candidates appeared and qualified in exam, difficulty level of exam and previous year's cut off etc.

can I get admission in mbbs and Bds with 114 marks in neet 2020 I am from SC category

Nitya 2nd Nov, 2020

Hello,

You must be knowing that getting into government colleges is not possible for you with this score even for BDS also. You might get a BDS seat in some private and deemed  colleges. But getting MBBS seems like quite difficult in private colleges too.

what should b the date of approval for rba to b used in neet 2020

kritiesse 4th Nov, 2020

hello,

RBA in NEET is quite similar to the general category. There is no special category in the application process so you fill the form under the general category and give the exam just so. There is no specific date. when you go for counseling and document verification, you show your RBA documents because it does carry a reservation in medical institutions.

hope this helped. good luck!!

I scored 535 in Neet 2020, AIR 59,000. I know I womt get any govt MBBS colleges and Im prepared for deemed MBBS colleges. Now, in what order do i fill choices? All Govt MBBS first, and then Deemed or vice versa? I dont want to miss my chances for Deemed universities either. Please help me

sureshkumarlaasya 2nd Nov, 2020

Hello aspirant,

If you think that you want to try for government MBBS colleges then first fill the government MBBS colleges though you may think that you might not get the college. We never know what happens. Keep government MBBS colleges first and then keep the deemed universities in which you are interested. Fill as many options as possible to ensure that you will get admission in some college. But don't fill those colleges which you are not interested in .
