I score 355 in neet 2022 and I am belong to SC can I get a medical seat in Karnataka
Hello aspirant
The previous year cut off for SC category student domiciled in Karnataka was 422 marks and the college allotted was ESI Medical College, Gulbarga. Even if the cut off decreases, it will do so by only 2-5 marks. So, you have very low chances of getting a government seat in Karnataka.
For the private colleges also, one requires 400+ marks to secure a seat in Karnataka.
You can get a seat in the following private colleges-
Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences
Rajshree Medical College
Era's Medical College, Lucknow
Raja Rajeshwari Medical College, Bangalore (Deemed)

Hello aspirant
According to the previous year's cut off, a candidate belonging to the GENERAL category must score 510 marks to get a government BAMS college in Karnataka.
In other states too, the cut off for the general category ranged from 550- 577 marks. So, you have almost nil chances of getting a government BAMS college in Karnataka, or even in any other state.

I am expecting 370 marks in neet 2022 and have got not so good ranking in cet. I want to choose a course related to medicine. I have no reservations. now I feel like all doors are closed. Can you please guide me?
Though at this score the chances of you fetching a seat in a government medical college are nil, it's not the end of the world. You have ample of options you can choose to pursue.
If you want to pursue a career related to medicine only, you can enroll youself in alternate medicine courses like BAMS/ BHMS/ Unani/ Veterinary Sciences or BSc Nursing.
You can also pursue BSc in Radiology or Paramedical technology.
You can opt for B. Pharmacy to pursue a pharmacy related career.
You can also choose BPt or Bachelor of Physiotherapy to become a physiotherapist.
You can even become a biomedical engineer or Microbiology engineer by considering courses like BSc Biotechnology and BSc Microbiology.
Remember, success in NEET doesn't guarantee success in life. Doctors are not the only working professionals who are successful. You have plenty of options to choose from. Just go where your heart takes you.
Hope this answers your query
All the best:)
I am st candidate and I score 210 in neet 2022 can I get government medical college
Your score is very low for admission to government medical colleges.
You can expect your rank to be around 5.5-5.6 lakhs as it was in NEET 2021.
However this may vary according to the cut off this year.
At this score you are going to have a hard time getting a seat in a government medical college.
The closing ranks for SC category remain in between 1lakhs -2 lakhs according to the previous trends.
You can try admission to private medical/dental colleges of your state under the deemed/paid seats quota.
Hope this answers your query
Best wishes:)
Im expecting a score of 380-400 in neet 2022. Are there any private medical colleges which have a decent fee and patient load?
Hello aspirant,
With a score of 380-400, you have chances of getting only a private/deemed college. You can have a look at the private colleges you can get into, based on previous year's cut off-
KD Medical College, Mathura- 378
Rama Medical College- 382
Heritage Medical College, Varanasi- 398
Noida International Medical College- 350
All these colleges have an annual fee of 12.5 lakh- 15 lakh (not including hostel, mess and other charges). Deemed universities have a yearly fee of 18-25 lakh, which is quite expensive.

For sc/ist category student to get a Government Medical College for MBBS seat candidate has to secure 400 + marks in Neet UG exam.
