I got 116 and rank 875697 in neetug 2021? what should I do with this rank and number? I am a general student from west bengal.

Anurag Khanna 2nd Nov, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Unfortunately on such NEET score you are not even qualified for NEET 2021 because the cut-offs for NEET UG 2021 are as follows :-

-->>> General - 50th percentile - 720-138 marks

-->>> SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile - 137-108 marks

-->>> General-PwD - 45th percentile - 137-122 marks

-->>> SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile - 121-108 marks

Now without getting qualified in NEET UG 2021 you cannot get admissions in any of the courses such as MBBS, BAMS, BHMS and other Ayush courses neither in government college nor in private college.

So on such marks and category I would recommend you to take a drop and prepare for NEET 2022 then to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

You can check out complete details regarding NEET qualifying cut-offs from the link given below :-

I hope this information helps you.

looking for advise on Neet admission for 2022. what are the various categories, admission procedures, ranks expected

DrTeeth 25th Sep, 2021

Hi. The various categories for which you can apply for NEET 2022 (and subsequently get admission on the basis of that category into your college of choice) are as under: (they are mentioned along with their cut off percentile required for your result to be declared "pass")

Unreserved /General Category 50th Percentile
Other Backward Classes (OBC) 40th Percentile
Scheduled Caste (SC) 40th Percentile
Scheduled Tribe (ST) 40th Percentile
SC-PH 40th Percentile
ST-PH 40th Percentile
OBC-PH 40th Percentile
UR – PH 45th Percentile

PH means physically handicapped. This is a general overview, however, there can be more categories depending upon your state of choice.

The general admission procedure will be as follows:

1. Applying for neet through the official website of NTA

2. Downloading your application and confirmation form (after you successfully create a profile and pay the application fees)

3. After NTA confirms the examination date, you will have to download your admit card by logging into your profile. This card will have all your details along with your examination centre

4. reporting to the centre at the allotted time, giving the exam

5. NTA will soon release an official answer key which will give you a fair hint about your marks

6. Applying for the counselling (state or all india)

7. Attending the counselling, securing a seat

Sir, What is The difference between All India rank, & Category rank. which rank counts for neet admission

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 3rd Nov, 2021

Hi

In Neet examination your all India rank is considered for admission and not category rank.

DIFFERENCE

the difference between all india rank and category rank is that all india rank  is overall rank while category rank represent your rank within the category you belong to.

For example,

Let's say that 100 students attended neet examination and you were one of them and got 80 th rank among those 100 students.

Out of those 100 students, 20 were obc and let's say you also belong to OBC category and let's assume that among those 20 students you scored that second highest marks then your OBC rank will be 2 .

Thus, in this case your all india rank or overall rank will be 80 while your OBC rank will be 2.

Why class 10th result will require for NEET phase 2 registration? Is it first time they ask it ?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 25th Sep, 2021

Hi

They are asking for it because 10th certificate is important as a part of your academic details/record.

No, this is not the first time when NTA is asking for 10th certificate for neet application form.

Earlier 10th certificate was uploaded while filling the neet application itself but this year for Neet 2021  application registration was divided into two phases - Phase 1 and phase 2  and 10th certificate needs to be uploaded in the Phase 2.

NTA hasn't notified about 2nd phase/ part filling yet. The 2nd part/ phase needs to be filled before your neet Result or downloading of neet result/score card , NTA will notify separately later on about phase 2 filling.

You can keep an eye on the official website at

https://neet.nta.nic.in/webinfo/Page/Page?PageId=8&LangId=P

Once neet phase-2 registration starts, you can fill it following the below steps:-

-----------) First of visit the official website i. e neet.nta.nic.in

-----------) Then click on NEET phase -2 registration.

-----------) Now, log in using your log in credentials

-----------) Fill the details asked  , recheck everything.

-----------) Finally, click on the submit button.

I have applied for NEET admission with General category by mistake. is it possible to get the category changed in Tamilnadu medical admission

Ayush 14th Sep, 2021

Hello candidate,

I am sorry to inform you but if you have already appeared for the examination the general category there is not possible to change your category in the counselling rounds and you have to appear in this counselling process as a General character itself. So the only thing which you can do is to try and score as much as possible in the examination.

If you have any further education related doubts feel free to post it here!!

How many marks for neet admission

Megha Bele 3rd Aug, 2021

Hi aspirant

hope you are doing absolutely fine

NEET is the common entrance exam for the students to take admission in medical, dental, et cetera courses.IT is one of the most aspired exam from the aspirants. Here is the NEET eligibility criteria for the NEET aspirants with respect to 12th boards-

Candidate must secure minimum of 50% aggregate in 10 + 2 higher secondary education from a recognized college/ university. Minimum age must be 17 years of age. The subjects in 10 + 2 higher secondary must be physics, chemistry and biology.

The cut off for the exam varies. here is the lst for qualifying the exam-

GENERAL - 50TH PERCENTILE

SC/ST/OBC- 40TH PERCENTILE

but this does not mean you will get the admission if you qualify. Every year cut off changes-

GENERAL- 550 +

OBC - 500 +

SC/ST- 450+

Above is the list for the expected cut off meaning that if you get these marks, your chances to get government seat increases. These are predicted scores and not exact as every year this fluctuates.
