I am a dropper and passed 12 from Maharashtra state board which qualifying code i should use neet application form

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 12th Aug, 2021
Hi

You are a dropper means you have already passed 12th

You need to choose the code 02.

This is because,

You have passed your 12th from Maharashtra board i. e The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education

And

code 2 is for all those who have passed their 10+2/ higher /senior secondary / Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology and English

While, those who have passed 1st year of graduation with all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology needs to select code 5 and those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology/biotechnology in their bsc need to select code 6.

I have applied the Neet application form before class 12 Cbse result. In the application form there was a field called code and it had only one code that is 01. Now I got my Cbse results and I am appearing for Neet 2021 for 1st time. What code should I mention now?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 11th Aug, 2021

The NEET code 01 is correct for your case.

As you are a CBSE 2021 appearing student the code is applicable for you.

The Code 1 applicable for:

  • Students who are appearing for the boards in the present academic session.

Now as your results are released then you have to provide the marks and other details when ever asked by the NTA. So you have nothing to worry about. You should focus on your studies.

my school code is invalid in neet application form but is valid on cbse site..what should i do??

Nishant Joshi 18th Sep, 2021

Hi, so i would suggest you to contact NTA i.e. National Testing Agency.  Since CBSE doesn't conduct NEET exam anymore.

So go to the official site of NTA https://nta.ac.in/ and go to the contact section and contact the authorities. I am pretty sure they would resolve your issue.

Hope this is helpful.
