sir in my ews certificate surname has Shaikh but in my all other documents (Neet application form also) surname has short form Sk. is there any problem create in during slot of collages in neet ?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 4th Aug, 2021

SK is a well known abbreviation for Shaikh, thus I would say there will not be any problem in your counselling sessions. But if you want to be safe then you can keep a Gazetted Officer attested copy statement which will certify that the name with Sk and Shaik both the names belong to the same person. For this you can reach out to your DM or Depty. Magistrate and they will do it for you. But in general there are no big problems about it but its better to be safe.

I have recently got my 12th results 2021 do i need to edit my neet application form or can keep it as it it?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 4th Aug, 2021
Hi

No, no need to edit your neet application form . One needs to fill correct details as per time of filling the form and at the time of filling the form, your results were not out so you filled the application form choosing the code 1 ( code 1 is for 12th 2021 board examination  appearing student or have appeared but result is awaited ) and you  couldn't fill your details like marks/% obtained by you in 12th board examination etc.
If you want then you can edit your details i. e choose code 2 which is for 12th passed and add your 12th % etc  but it is completely optional , you can  leave your form the way it is.
Anyway,
If you decide to edit then,
Neet correction window will open on 8th August and the last date to use it is 12th August.

Here's how you can use correction window:-

*Visit neet.nta.nic.in

* login using your application number and password

* you will see an option by click here for corrections in the neet application form, click on it

*now you can edit / correct your details.

*After making correction, forfuture references , take a printout of your correction slip .

i had 6 subjects in class 12 (cbse) what should enter as maximum marks 500(as best of five) or (600 total marks) in the neet application form

suchayitaanusaha 4th Aug, 2021

Hello,

You have to give your best of 5 dear. Because in 12th out 600 i.e. six subjects you have to choose best of five. So you can write any percentage or number in your application form for college or any entrance examination which is only for best of five dear.

All the best.
