While AIIMS and JIPMER did not mention any specific aggregates for admission to MBBS based on NEET score, you should mention your Improvement marks and year because that is when you got the better marks. And if you are appeared for NEET 2020, for a complete list of colleges that you may have a shot at, please use our College predictor: https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer
Hi aspirant,
You did not fill your category i.e. EWS while filling NEET application form. On account of this you will be treated as General candidate and there is no rule to change category at the time of counselling. Had you applied with EWS category and you were not able to produce EWS certificate, then your category would have been changed to general. But for now it is not allowed and hence you woul be allocated seat in general category candidates.
Hope it helps you.
Admission to ESIC Colleges happens through All India Quota, State Quota and IP Quota.
Because the seats are filled both at All India Level and State level, it is important that you should select ESIC Quota in the NEET application form. But now it is too late because changes are not allowed during Counselling. But we would still suggest you to write to NTA regarding this at their helpdesk and take their suggestion. You can mail them at: neet @ nta .ac.in
Because NTA doesn't know your personal details, the chances of your application form being rejected because of swap in Parent's details are less. Having said that, this might be a problem during entering the exam hall as the Valid Id proof that you carry might have different details. So once you get the admit card, please mail to NTA at their helpdesk which is neet @ nta .ac.in . Please let them know that the parent's details have been swapped. Then NTA will make a note of these details and will pass it on to the respective exam centres. So this way you can still appear for NEET. But we would suggest you to wait until the admit card is released. And if all the other information and eligibility criteria has been met, there should not be any reason why you wouldn't get your admit card. Do not worry:)
NTA has opened the correction window thrice to make changes to your NEET application form. But if you have missed that deadline, unfortunately there is nothing much that can be done at this point in time. And now the Admit cards are due for release on August 29th and so no corrections will be entertained at this point in time. But this will not affect the merit list. It means swapping your parents names in the NEET application form will not affect the merit list in any way and so you might still get the admit card. But when the Counselling process begins, you will have to make sure you enter the details correct there. Or once the admit card is released, you can actually mail NTA about the swap and they will make a note of it and allow you to the exam hall and later give you leverage during filling the registration form for Counselling. But this will not be the reason why your application will be rejected.
OEC is a Category that stands for Other Eligible Communities. And this is seen in the State of Kerala. These are the Communities that have been recommended to be added to the State SC and ST list. That is why they are Categorised into OEC (SC) and OEC (ST). Because this is a State level Categorisation and NEET is a National level Entrance examination, you do not see OEC in the application forms for both NEET and OEC. Because you haven't mentioned your Category, what we shall do is give you the list of Communities that have been scheduled to be listed under OEC SC or OEC ST. Accordingly please select either SC or ST in your NEET/KEAM application form. The link is: https://bcdd.kerala.gov.in/communities/oec-list/#:~:text=OEC%20(Other%20Eligible%20Communities)%20are,)%20and%20OEC%20(ST).
Dear Aspirant,
As you have not mentioned yourself OBC in the form, your councelling will now done in the open category and you will not be eligible for the OBC relaxations given to the OBC candidates. Your candidature will not be cancelled and you can sit in the councelling as a general candidate.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
Hello,
It is not an issue worth worrying. There is still time for NEET exam until then your hair will grow. But you need to carry the passport size photograph which you have uploaded while applying for NEET along with your admit card, Identity proof. So you need to make sure that you carry the same photograph as in NEET application form.
