I have not selected as EWS category in NEET application form, but is it possible to get admission in college by showing my EWS Certificate?

Aryan Bhardwaj 17th Sep, 2020

Hey Aaditya,

Application form of an Exam is the Identification proof of yourself. The information given in that form is final and can not be change. But you can request to your college for editing the info after getting the college, then you can show your EWS certificate and can also get the perks according to your certificate in your college.

But you are unable to get the perks of the EWS in the process of selection of seat. I hope this answer helps you for clearing your doubt.

Thank you !!

Now you will be considered as General category . And also  merit list will be prepared on your category that you have choosen during application form.So please fill your category as General category in counseling process.

sir in my aadhar card date of birth is not similar to neet application form ,,,but i have both aadhar card so which aadhar card can i take

handukanika 12th Sep, 2020

Hello,

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate), formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test, is an entrance examination in India for students who wish to study undergraduate medical courses and dental courses in government or private medical and dental colleges in India.
To avoid any confusion before exam take the one with the same date of birth as in the NEET application form as the examiners check registration number and date of birth in the admit card.

All the candidates must carry the following documents with them otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

  • NEET 2020 Admit Card (Released): NEET 2020 admit card has been released on August 26, 2020 at ntaneet.nic.in. It is a mandatory document that must be carried at the exam center. The document will also be required during AIQ (All India Quota) & State counselling and Admission processes of various institutes.
  • Valid ID Proof: Aadhar Card or any other valid ID proof is the essential document that one must present at the time of examination.
  • Passport Size Photograph: Candidates are also required to carry multiple passport size photographs to NEET exam center. Photographs must be the same as used in the application form.
  • Self Declaration Form: The self-Declaration Form is a new document that is mandatory to carry along with the above-mentiond documents. It is provided along with the admit card and need to filled by candidates.

Hope this helps

as I scored 55 percent in my 12th. and also in physics alone I got 46 percent my doubt is if I am filling NEET application form is there a chance of rejecting my form. Im from. UR category.

handukanika 11th Sep, 2020

Hello,

The eligibilty criteria for NEET is that candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Candidates who are appearing for the class 12 or equivalent exam are also eligible to apply for NEET 2020.

12th percentage required for NEET 2020 are separate for each category and can be listed as under. NEET eligibility marks in 12th to be considered are aggregate marks only for PCB subjects
UR - 50%,
OBC/SC/ST - 40%,
PWD - 45%

So you are eligible as aggregate should be 50%. There is no chance of your form being rejected.
Hope this helps

iammohdshareef 10th Sep, 2020
Hello kid,
.
No, NEET application form is not necessary to Carry and it's not even allowed inside examination hall but you should carry a photo and NEET 2020 admit card, these 2 things are mandatory for students.
.
Any kinds of I'd cards, college admit cards, geometry, watches, bracelets are strictly restricted. You should wear a simple half sleeve t-shirt and a simple pants with no stylist stitching along with slippers and Carry admit card and a photo that's it. No further actions will be entertained.

i opted no instead of yes for customary dress declaration in neet application form but now i want to wear bhurkha. will they allow me?

Pankhuri Kumari 9th Sep, 2020
Hii!
It is strictly mentioned in the guidelines before filling the application form that you need to be careful before filling the customary dress preference in the form. This can't be changed once selected. Thus, you will not be allowed burkha at this condition. However, if there is nothing you can do about it, you should reach the examination centre an hour before the time and inform about the same, so that necessary decisions can be taken and preparations can be made.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

I am a SEBC Candidate... I marked General Category in the NEET Application form as there was no SEBC option...But now i will choose SEBC in state Application form and go for councilling...So during Councilling will they reject me because i have first applied as General and now applied as SEBC...?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 6th Sep, 2020

Sangram, SEBC is a State level registration because it is not available in all States. And NTA released a National level application form. So you will not find SEBC as a Category in the NTA Application form. And so you have to choose between General Category and OBC. Now if the Community you belong to is listed in the Central OBC list  then you can select OBC or else you have to select General Category and hence you chose General Category based on our previous discussion. But when you fill the State Application form for Counselling, yu will select SEBC as it is your State Counselling and you belong to SEBC. This is how the process works and your application will not be rejected for this reason.
