my neet application status showing cancel NJ on selection list . what can i do to get further addmission by rap round please suggest

Sohamsengupta8 11th Mar, 2022

Hello Student

Neet application status is showing cancel  NJ. That means if you have allotted seat in a specific Medical College and you have not joined at the specific college or not reported there then your status will be not joining. If you have an alloted seat and after joining you have cancelled it then it will show cancel. This type of candidate cannot take part in other round of counselling in the next processing. He can attend only stray vacancy round in state counselling only.

This will help.

I am very tensed about my doubt that I have registered as OBC non creamy layer as per the past years certificate but I came to know that I was OBC creamy layer will they reject my neet application

roshni 19th Jan, 2022

Hello,

They will not reject your application, but in case you will fails to produce proper EWS/OBC certificate at allotted Medical College then you will not be permitted to join the allotted Medical College and your category will be changed open for the next round. Generally the validity of OBC NCL Certificate for Central Government is 1 Year and Whereas Validity of OBC NCL Certificate for State Government is 3 years.

So when you select OBC-NCL as your category, you are entitled to reservation. And if you qualify in NEET and when you appear for counselling because you benefitted from OBC-NCL as your category, you are supposed to submit the proof of OBC-NCL certificate for authentication purposes. In order to qualify as an OBC non-creamy layer candidate, the applicant's parents' annual income should be less than Rs. 8 lakhs. Salary and agricultural income are not to be considered as income for calculating annual income for creamy layer status.
