NEET Eligibility
Hello Aspirant,
As per the Annexure-6 available in the information brochure issued by MCC, the UR/OBC/EWS candidate should have secured minimum aggregate of 60% in PCBE combination and therefore it is different from that of NEET UG examination where an aggregate of 50% is required for PCB combination for UR/EWS candidates.
So if you have 54% in PCBE and you belongs to UR/EWS/OBC category then you cannot get admission in AIIMS even after scoring the best possible marks in NEET UG, as per the rules. But you can go for other central universities and other medical colleges that have higher cut-offs but AIIMS would not be available for you if you have failed to secure the minimum prescribed aggregate of 60%.
You can check complete information brochure from the link given below :-

Hello!
Yes you can give NEET UG exam even if you have completed BAMS/BHMS. It is not related. You need to qualify NEET cut-off according to your category cut-off rank to get admission in a medical college.
The final year percentage of BAMS/BHMS cannot be used for NEET. You need to qualify NEET and the marks and rank you will get after giving the exam will only be counted for admission in medical colleges.
All the best!
Hi Seema!

Hi
You don't need Class 11th marksheet for NEET.
Student must have passed class 12th for taking part in NEET examination.
So you can definitely give NEET examination without any issue.
Best of luck
I am assuming that you are from general category
To be eligible for neet, you should have passed 12th board examination with physics, chemistry ,biology/biotechnology and English and must have got:-
at least 50 % in aggregate of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in 12th examination if belongs to general category
at least 40% in aggregate of PCB if belongs to Obc/ Sc /st category
at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible.
This percentage requirement is same for all valid board be it nios or any other board
Now,
You belong to general category and
Your aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology in your NIOS is
= 162
=( 162 / 300 x 100 )%
= 54 % i. e more than 50% so you are definitely eligible for neet 2021 examination .
Also,
* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021
* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021
* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.
