how much pass marks for SC in neet exam 2021

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 1st Sep, 2021

Hi

Neet qualifying cutoff percentile remains same every year which is provided below category wise:-

----------) General category :- 50 percentile

- ---------) OBC/ SC /ST :- 40 percentile

----------) UR- Ph :- 45 percentile

If I tell you about qualifying cut off marks then

This is very difficult to predict neet 2021 cut off as cut off marks keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like :-

----------) number of students that appeared in the exam,

----------) kind of marks obtained by them ,

----------) toughness  level of the examination etc.

But yes,

Cut off marks will be more or less similar to previous years and when we go through past year qualifying cut off trends then last 3 years qualifying cut off data is given below for reference :-

.                 .  Year wise cut off marks

Category     2020             2019          2018

General   720-147        701-134      691-119

UR-PH     146-129         133-120      118-107

Obc/sc/st  146-113     133-107       118 - 96

So, for neet 2020 an sc category student required at least 113 marks to qualify neet, to be on the safer side you should try to get at least 15 to 20 marks more  in comparison of Neet 2020 cut off as per your category i. e  if you belong to sc category then try to get atleast around 130 marks in order to qualify Neet 2021.

But yes,

Just qualifying with Neet cutoff won't help you to fetch a seat in a Government Medical College so you should try to get at least around 500-525 marks if you belong to sc category.

Now , limited time is left for your neet 2021 examination, so focus on preparation, go through the chapters , practise questions and then revise them, go through mock test papers once you are done with complete syllabus.

please help me Big permanent tattoo on my full hand its allowed in neet exam 2021 ?????

pushpachoudhary7413 28th Aug, 2021
Hello aspirant , as i can see you are concerned about the tattoo on your hand .
Then don't worry as there is no such rule mentioned in admit card to prohibit a candidate from exam having a tattoo. But, to avoid risk you must reach to the centre an hour earlier than usual time given and cooperate with the checking .
You should already consult with your invigilator regarding the tattoo , so that no problem will be faced by you during the exam. If you are still in doubt ,you can call on the helpline no. of NTA or drop an email and take their guidance.
Email - neet@nta.ac.in
Phone no. - 0120-6895200  , 011-40759000
Hope this helped

Hello student, Don't worry student, there is no such rule that a student cannot have tattoo on their body to appear for NEET examination. It is just a myth that a NEET student cannot have tattoo but in reality a medical student can also have tattoo. So start preparing for NEET exam as the exam is near.

Do I need to fill the office copy of OMR also in NEET exam?

Khushi Goyal 21st Aug, 2021

Dear Student,

Original copy is the OMR sheet in which we mark the answers. And Office copy is the OMR sheet is where our roll no. and other details are verified.

No, there is no need to fill the office copy. The office copy contains your details and application number. In short, you can say that it is like your attendance sheet.

On completion of the exam, candidates must hand over the OMR Sheet (both Original and Office Copy) to the invigilator and take away only the test booklet with them.
