can a compartmental canndidate who have scored 75% marks in 10+2 exam , eligible to appear before the Neet Exam 2021

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Jul, 2021

Hi

Yes ,you are eligible for neet 2021 even if you have given compartment examination provided you should have cleared your compartment examination and after clearing it , you must have got :-

  • at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB  i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology  in 12th examination  if belongs to general category

  • at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st category

  • at least 45 % in aggregate of PCB in case of pwd candidates to be eligible .

so ,if you meet this percentage requirement in PCB as per your category then you are eligible for Neet examination.

Also,

* to be eligible for neet 2021 one has to be at least 17 years old or more by 31st December 2021

* There is no upper age limit for Neet 2021

* There's no limit for the maximum number of attempts/times one can appear in NEET.

Im NEET aspirant I belongs to pwd category under visually impaired category . am I able to get admission for mbbs if i get 200 marks for NEET exam 2021

Megha Bele 13th Jul, 2021

Hi aspirant

hope you are doing absolutely fine

  • yes you can can get MBBS seat with 200 marks.

  • For last year2020 qualifying marks for PWD was 87 - 112 marks. They must complete 10 + 2 higher secondary education with minimum of 35 % aggregate.

  • Chances are high that you may get MBBS seat in government college. I would suggest you to try all the counselling rounds and also mop up rounds.

  • If possible, you can apply in AI QUOTA as well.

ALL THE BEST

HOPE IT HELPS.

I am a Pwd candidate (General) I will appear the neet exam 2021 from west bengal. Can I get chance in mbbs government college?? if i get 230 mark aggregate

Maryam Sara 4th Aug, 2021

Hi Aspirant,

The percentile required for a PWD-GENERAL candidate is 45% percentile in NEET.

The cut-off score in the past two years has also risen for all the categories as:

  • 2019- 133-120 marks
  • 2020- 146-129 marks

So it might increase this year too.

For you the safe score will be around 250 marks. And if you score a bit higher like 300 you will definitely get a very good college seat.

And as it is said you should aim higher so I suggest you to aim for 350 and then your score will be around 300.

WISHING YOU LUCK FOR FUTURE
