Virat Srivastava 18th Jul, 2021

Dear candidate, your code for neet 2021 application will be 7 as it states that, in case of passing any other examination, which is equivalent to intermediate science examination of any university/board, can opt code 7 as NEET code 2021. It must be taken into consideration that students must have completed two years of study in Physics, Biology/Biotechnology, Chemistry and English and have passed practical tests also.

Hope, it helps!

i am in OBC category in Uttar Pardesh State but come under General under central. Should i choose OBC or General. In NEET form

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 17th Jul, 2021

Hi

You need to choose general as your category while filling Neet application form,

This is because

As per neet information brochure 2021 those who belong to OBC category at state level but are not in the centre list need to select general as their category while filling the Neet application form.

But yes,

While filling the form of state counselling you can definitely choose OBC as your category because while filling the state application form there are categories on the basis of that state only and as you belong to OBC in your state you can definitely choose OBC but in 15% all India counselling you are not eligible for OBC category, in that you'll have to choose general as your category.

To help you further, here's how you can fill neet application form

To fill the application form you need to go through 5 steps i. e

*neet registration :- first of all visit the official website of neet i. e ntaneet  to generate your login credentials,

*then fill the form i. e you need to fill your personal academic and contact details

*and after that you need to go for uploading your documents,

*then pay the application fee

  • General :-   1500/-

  • General-EWS/ OBC-NCL :-   1400

  • SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender :- 800

  • Foreign candidate :-  7500

*And finally you should take the printout of confirmation page.

my caste is NT-D, then what category should I fill in NEET form

Hi

NT-D is a  state level reservation category in the state of Maharashtra.

There are different castes under NT-D, please check your caste in the central list of OBC , if your cast is there or not, if it is there you can choose OBC NCL while filling  Neet application form Otherwise you must choose general as your category

Central list :

And don't worry even if you are not in the central list of  OBC NCL , you will  still be to avail NT D  reservation in Maharashtra state counselling because while filling  state counselling form , categories are there as per the state so NT D  category will be there, and you can choose it.

I finished my 12th this year. What should I mention in neet form?

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 16th Jul, 2021

Hi

I am guessing that you are asking about neet codes .

It's okay if you finished your 12th this year but are  your 12th resuls out?

IF RESULT Is not out

If result is not out then use the code 1 as

code 1 is for those who are going to appear in 12th board 2021 examination  with physics, chemistry, biology and English or have have already appeared but results are awaited i. e have not been declared.

RESULT IS OUT

If your results are out then,

You need to choose the code 2 .

This is because,

You have have passed your 12th and

code 2 is for all those who have  passed their 10+2/higher /senior secondary/ Indian School Certificate Examination with physics, chemistry, biology and English.

In case, if in place of 10+2 , you have done intermediate / puc then you need to select the code 3 as

code 3 says it is for those passed their intermediate / pre- degree examination  in the year  with physics, chemistry, biology and English ,your physics, chemistry and biology should also contain practical exam.
