sir I have Passed 12th last year and now I am in d pharmacy first year. to fill neet form what code will be correct for this please reply as soon as possible

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Jul, 2021

Hi

You need to choose the code 02.

This is because,

Though you are doing diploma right now, your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology remains 10 + 2 .

While those who are doing bsc and have all the 3 i. e physics, chemistry and biology in bsc needs to choose code 5 and those who have completed bsc with at least any two out of physics,  chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.

i am bce i also have ews certificate so will i be benifited as bce at state level also which caste should i choose in neet form genersl or general ews?? please do reply

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 14th Jul, 2021

Hi

Bc is state level category and is a part of reservation under obc category .

But how can you have both OBC and EWS  certificate ,

because the basic eligibility criteria for EWS  is that you shouldn't be covered in under  OBC /SC / St category.

I am guessing that you don't belong to OBC NCL category at Central level and that is why you have bc certificate at state level and ews certificate which is valid at Central level.

Anyway,

As per Neet 2021 information brochure those who belong to OBC category at state level but are not in the central list of OBC ,  they need to choose general as their category but as you have EWS certificate you can choose EWS as your category in neet application form

And,

Don't worry while participating in your state counselling you will be able to choose BC as your category as in  state counselling form the categories are as per the state.

Which code should I apply for neet form i m in bsc part 1 and dont have physics as my sub. i did +2 with cbse and had pcmb as my sub

Anurag Khanna 14th Jul, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

As you have mentioned that you are in B.Sc part 1 so it seems like you are doing B.Sc and currently in 1st year right, if not then please correct me in the comment section below.

Now if you are in your 1st year of your graduation and want to appear for NEET UG 2021 then your subjects of first year doesn't matter because your highest qualification for NEET will be class 12th/Intermediate so as per the rules the NEET qualification code which you should use is 2.

Because NEET Qualifying code 2 is used for those candidates whose highest qualification is class 12th passed.

which code should i use to fill neet form 2021?i am bsc Life sci student and took admission in 2020 having subject botany, zoology, chemistry.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 13th Jul, 2021

Hi

You need to choose the code 02.

This is because,

Though you are doing BSc life science your highest qualification with all the three subjects i. e physics chemistry and Biology remains 10 + 2 as you don't have physics in your bsc life science

While, those who are doing Bsc and have all the three subject i. e physics chemistry and Biology needs to select code 5 and those who have completed BSc with at least any two of physics chemistry and Biology in their bsc need to select code 6.
