are they going to talk about the neet/jee postponement on July 3rd?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 28th Jun, 2020

The latest information that we have is that CBSE exams have been cancelled. The CBSE exams that have been scheduled for July 1st to 5th have been cancelled as per CBSE's decision. The same has been conveyed to the Supreme Court as well. Students have an option to appear in the examination only if they wish to. But if they do not wish to appear for the examination, then their performance in the last 2 examinations will be considered to grant them marks.  And CBSE informed the Supreme Court its assessment scheme. According to that, those students who have completed all their CBSE exams will be assessed based on their performance in the exams. Those who appeared for more than 3 or more subjects the average of the marks secured in the best of the 3 will be given to those subjects for which exams have not been conducted. And those students who have written just 1 or 2 subjects, the results will be declared on the  basis of their internal, practical or project assessments for the subjects they haven't written the examinations.  And if students want to appear for the exams, they can do so when they are conducted. ICSE might have a slightly changed model and Supreme Court has agreed to that. And amid all this the Centre has not taken any decision regarding NEET and JEE Mains scheduled for July.  So we still need to wait to hear from them. Today being Sunday, we only might hear from them on Monday or the next week.

Is there any chance of cancelallion of this academic year? Will JEE and NEET also effected?? Does there any chance of neet/jee occurs at 2021?

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 25th Jun, 2020
Hello,

This question is the most important topic at the point of time because career and years of lakhs of aspirants is on the line but the helplessness infront of the monstrous Coronavirus has left everyone hopeless and decision less.Nothing can be said regarding what's gonna happen when India is facing a rise of more than 15k cases everyday.
HRD Ministry is in talks with exam conducting bodies and both JEE and NEET are likely to get postponed. But the question regarding what will happen with the academic year is something nobody knows until any vaccine arrives or new cases gets minimized but till then lets pray for the best and keep your preparations on.

is government going to relaxation for neet ,jee coaching centers by taking precautions from corona?

Pritam Singh 13th May, 2020

Hey there

There is no official information regarding opening of neet jee coaching centres. Educational places have higher number of people in a small area and thus it will be difficult to handle the situation in this pandemic.
