No, the NEET results are independent of board results. It solely depends on how the candidate performs in the entrance test. According to estimates based on the previous years results, candidates belonging to general or unreserved category need to score 50 percentile or more to qualify the medical entrance examination. The cut off for unreserved PH candidates is set at 45 percentile, while for SC, ST, OBC category it is 40 percentile.

However, the NEET2020 OMR answer sheets and recorded responses of the Candidates have already been released by NTA on 5th October i.e. yesterday. The answer sheets will be accessible by online candidate login on the official website :
