You cannot any medical/dental college be it government or private , not even bds in a private dental college for management quota seat

This is because,

You have failed to qualify neet examination but in order to be eligible for getting admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS etc even in private colleges for management quota seat or anywhere  you must qualify Neet examination

For your reference,

Neet 2021 qualifying cutoff  for different   categories is given below:-

.                     NEET 2021 CUT OFF

Category     cut off percentile  Cut off marks

General/ EWS     50th                   720-138

General-PH        45th                 137-122

SC                       40th                 137-108

ST                         40th                137-108

OBC                      40th                137-108

SC/ST/OBC-PH   40th               121-108

So,

An obc/sc/st category student requires at least 108 marks, to qualify neet 2021 and for general category at least 138 marks is required to qualify Neet 2021

can we get bds in oxford or ramaiah in management quota? neet score is 155 obc

Sree Student Expert 21st Mar, 2022

Hello Sudha,

>>It is difficult to predict because cut-offs changes from year to year. Your profile suggests that you belong to Tamil Nadu domicile.

>>Your NEET UG score is very low, because of which it is difficult to get seat in Oxford Dental College, Bangalore and M.S. Ramaiah Dental College, BangaloreM.S.Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bangalore based on previous year's cut-offs.

>>But cut-offs varies from year to year and depends on many factors. You can try for Management quota seat in some other Colleges.

shall I get addmission in private BDS in mop up round in uttar Pradesh my neet score is 116

ayanmukherjee045 14th Mar, 2022

Dear aspirant,

As far as your marks is concerned even bds stream would be very difficult for you to fetch because the cut off for the private college won't go that low . If you are sc /st category then you may have some chances but other than that it is very difficult to get. I would recommend you to keep some plan B in your mind as a back up.

Although various factors are considered while deciding the cut offs like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

can I get seat in any dental college in Telangana state and my neet score is 314 marks and I belong to Andhra Pradesh OBC category through Mop-up round AIQ?

Anurag Khanna 8th Mar, 2022

Hello Aspirant,

See this is very first time when 27% OBC quota has been made necessary for all dental and medical colleges participating in NEET UG AIQ counselling, due to which we don't have previous year's cut-off data and without previous year's cut-off data it is little bit difficult to guide you with an accurate prediction.

But as per the seat matrix of Government Dental College and Hospital, Hyderabad of Telangana state for AIQ counselling and also considering the fact of 27% reservation quota, you have very less chances to get seat for BDS even through mop-up round of AIQ counselling but still if you want you can participate in mop-up round counselling because this is merely an assumption.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

Piyush 6th Mar, 2022

hello aspirant,

I hope that you are doing absolutely great.

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that nothing can be said as the neet cutoff varies every year and is different for different category students and varies from colleges to colleges. The cutoff depends on several factors like : difficulty level of paper, number of aspirants appearing for examination etc.

NEET cutoff passing marks for general category is 720-138, while for SC/ST/OBC it is 137-108. NEET 2021 cutoff percentile for general category is 50th and for SC/ST/OBC it is 40th.

Further, if you wish to know more about the neet cutoff for previous year, you can prefer following the below mentioned link : https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off

Further, you can also check out the NEET college predictor tool to know more about your admission chances in other colleges based on your rank and percentile score : https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp
