i GOT 419 MARKS IN NEET UG 2020 CAN I GET GOVERNMENT SEAT IN PRIVATE COLLEGES IN TELANGANA STATE UNDER SC WOMEN CATEGORY

Anurag Khanna 14th Dec, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

See on such marks and category you have some chances of getting government seat in some Private medical colleges in Telangana under state quota according to previous year's cut-off. As we go through previous year's cut-off then it shows that you can get following colleges :-

SURABHI INST OF MED SCI, SIDDIPET

RVM MEDICAL COLLEGE, MULUGU

MAHAVIR INST OF MED SCI, VIKARABAD

DR PATNAM MAHENDER REDDY INST OF MED SCI, CHEVELLA

And some more. You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the link given below :-

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-telangana

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

after being allotted a seat in the Maharashtra counselling for neet ug 2020 for ( bhms/bams/bsc nursing ) is it possible to upgrade the seat? if so what is the procedure??

daniasufian2000 7th Jan, 2021

Hello student!

No, you would not lose your round 1 seat until you are upgraded to a more preferred seat of your choice. This means that once you have got a seat in round 1, it will continue to be your seat. However, you have the option to freeze your seat. If you do not freeze your seat in round 1 and you get a better seat in the next rounds, you will automatically be upgraded to that seat and you can not go back to your round 1 seat.

Hope this helps you!

All the very best!

I got 167 marks in neet UG 2020 can i get admission in your college?

AKSHAYA.V.A. 13th Dec, 2020

Hello!

There are no chances for you to get a seat in government and private college. But there are chances for you to get a seat in deemed colleges. Where the fee will be high. There are certain college which provides you with admission just if you have a pass mark. As you haven't mentioned the category it becomes more difficult to predict whether you will get a admission or not. Last year OC category cutoff was around 146.

ALL THE BEST. Hope the answer was helpful.

Thank you

what is virtual vacancy for round 2 in neet ug 2020?

Divyanshi Lal 11th Dec, 2020

Hey there,

I hope you are safe and healthy.

Virtual seats are those seats which are occupied by the students who wish for an upgrade in seat. So if that student get those seats which the wanted then the previous seats get vacated. These vacated seats are then given to other students. So these seats from which the students transfer to an upgraded seat creates a vacancy. This Vacancy is called Virtual vacancy.

Basically, it means vacating your seat in pursuit of a better seat in 2nd round. For example in the first round of counselling, you got an admission in a college and joined the college but in order to opt for a better college/seat, you decide to opt for 2nd round. So this seat is nor vacant until you get another seat in the 2nd round. Nevertheless, once your seat gets vacant, another candidate gets your seat.

Hope this helps.

for candidates whose college choice is not available will they be upgraded for round 2 automatically or any diff procedure? For maharashtra state round 2 fir mbbs/bds neet ug 2020?

Ayush 16th Dec, 2020

Hi candidate,

The choices or precisely the locked choices are submitted before the start of counselling rounds and depending on those choices a candidate is allotted a seat from his selected list of colleges.

After each round of counselling, the candidate gets options like slide, freeze and float and has to select one of them to participate in further rounds.

Hope that this answer helps you.

Koustav Dey 9th Dec, 2020

Hello,

The eligibility criteria for the mop up round of NEET UG 2020 are

  • All the candidates who have qualified NEET 2020 are eligible to participate in the mop up round.
  • Candidates who have not received a seat in 1st and 2nd round of counselling can also participate.
  • Candidates who get admission in the previous rounds of counselling are also eligible if only they have not filled the retention form.

So, in short YES, you can take part in the mop up round of NEET UG 2020 and your chance of getting a seat will depend upon your rank and the available seats in the mop up round.
