NEP
Hello aspirant,
NEP hasn't been implemented yet. And there is no problem in pursuing BA major's in Sociology unless you fulfill the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for the Course states that the candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 45-50% marks in any subject stream from a recognised board of education.
The Union Budget 2021-22 has already set the ball rolling with the announcement to qualitatively strengthen 15,000 schools across India to implement NEP. ... Going forward, the education sector must harness the forces of technology and pedagogy to further bolster the benefits accruing from NEP.
Thankyou
Dear Student,
National Education Policy(NEP) is not implemented yet but will applicable in coming years as Yogi adiytanath had said that it will implemented in phases in 2022 in UP so it will take about 2-3 years to be implemented in the whole India.
Thanks
Hello Dear,
Yes you can do your bachelors degree according to the NEP 2020. The New Education policy (NEP) likely to happen in a phased manner from the 2021-22 academic year, with central government-funded institutions adopting the new norms first. Through The NEP 2020 students can enjoy flexible education options such as three-year or four-year Bachelor's degree.
Good Luck
Hello Shifa,
As we all are aware of the new changes made in National Education Policy and we all have heard that there will be no particular streams, so this all will depend upon the different subjects offered by your school.
Your school will provide you the list of subjects or streams available with them and it will be upon you to choose along with some eligibility criteria.
So, don't worry, your school will let you know each and everything and will keep the students updated about it.
Hope it helps.
Good Luck!
Hello,
National education policy (NEP) announced by the centre on July 21, 2020 declared that the discontinuation of the master of philosophy or m.phil programme. Whatever may be reason for it's discontinuation the purpose of MPhil in higher education particularly in research merit at very least in discussion.
All the best.
As per the recommendations of National Educational Policy Mphil is to be discontinued from this year onwards, as a part of reforms the new education policy the duration of undergraduate course will be of three to four years with various options such as diploma, bachelor degree , and if anyone completes four year duration with research project in the major field of study, then that will lead to a degree with research, hence it's the probable reason to do away with MPhil degree,
Hello Naresh,
The Union Cabinet in July 2020 apporved NEP (New Education Policy ).
It is likely that the NEP will be implemented to degree colleges as per the following timelines:
1. The four year degree programme will be implemented by 2021 for Central Umiversities and by 2022 for others.
2. Multiple exit and entry points will also be there from 2020-21 in higher education.
Good luck!
Yes, you can pursue b.a course in sociology for 3 years according to the NEP. Candidates who complete the three-years course will be awarded a degree.
Hope this helps you.
