Any idea on what category do the Nepali student who have passed NEET PG in the counselling come under?? When we apply to the deemed college do we have to pay the General CAtegory fees (Management/PAid seats) or NRI??? PLEASE HELP

Sk Student Expert 11th Jun, 2020

Dear Aspirant,

When you had filled your form for the NEET PG examination you must have obviously mention General Category as it was the only option for you.  This will be your basic information you have entered.

Since the NEET PG results have been published, please narrow the colleges you can apply to and if under General Category you will be able to win a seat – it will be good.  If you opt for Management seats then then fees is definitely going to be higher.  Technically you are not an NRI as you have Nepali Citizenship, but some colleges may take you in and charge the higher fees.

Good Luck

I m a Nepali citizen and hve completed my MBBS from Nepal. I hve heard we need to hve Indian citizenship to give MCI.How does its possible for me to give MCI as I m getting married next year in india and will b practising there only ?????

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 27th Jan, 2020

MCI registration is for Indian Citizens who either are Indian Citizens who have studied MBBS abroad but are back to India and practise here or Indian Citizens who have studied MBBS in India. If you are a citizen of Nepal, you will not be eligible for MCI registration. Once you are married and move to India, you will have to reach out to the Embassy for the procedure of gaining Citizenship because you hold the virtue of getting married to an Indian Citizen and they will help you with the process. Then you can reach out to MCI for the next process.

I am A Nepali student, so do i need to give this exam for admission?

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 30th Nov, 2019

Candidates who do not reside in India including OCI, PIO card holders and NRIs fall under International students. For such students, the eligibility criteria for TISSNET is that they should have secured a minimum aggregate of 50% in their 10+2 and 50% in their Graduation or highest qualification. For more information, please visit our page at: https://bschool.careers360.com/articles/tissnet-mba-eligibility-criteria . But to just answer your question, you will have to appear for TISSNET even if you are from Nepal.

you can read the eligibility crteria from the Notice given by UPSC:- https://upsc.gov.in/sites/default/files/Final_Notice_CSPE_2019_N.pdf

In the above pdf you can get it in page number 12.

You can also apply for SSC and railways too. There no barreir but you have to show your documents every where for verification. You will get strictly verified for the nationality identification. so have your documents original and keep them updates as there are some documents which gets expired after some period.
