Hello, The CSIR NET is offered in five subjects only of which deals with chemistry so all kind of chemistry major students will be choosing the chemical sciences subjects only.There will be both inorganic and physical chemistry as a part of syllabus even though you are aiming for organic chemistry

Christians can claim OBC and ST reservation. Only followers of Dharmic religion claim SC reservation.

So, I think you should opt for OBC category in NET UC.

Hello, unfortunately after the correction window closes no change in category will be allowed. After the declaration of results the subsequent  changes in the category  (it usually happens for financially determined categories) wont be effective. You will considered in EWS category as such in this selection process.
