Eligibility criteria for admission is as follows:

Education Qualification:

  • You must have a degree in one of these.
  1. MSc Integrated BS-M
  2. BS-4 Year
  3. BE/B-Tech
  4. B-Pharma
  5. MBBS
  6. Or an Equivalent Degree.
  • For General and OBC Candidates - 55% Marks
  • For ST/SC/PWD Candidates - 50% Marks are required.

As per the eligibility criteria in terms of age for UGC NET exam for Assistant Professor, there is no age limit for it. Ap, you are eligible to appear for the UGC NET examination. The ncert book are mostly Reccomennded to JEE and NEET aspirants

NCERT book for class 11 biology

NCERT book for class 11th chemistry

Yes, you are eligible to apply for the UGC net in commerce and CSIR net mathematical science . But you cannot apply for as you are in the  first year of pg for UGC NET  minimum qualification is completion of pg) and for the  csir net only for jrf
