Neurology
The Academic profile in India is different from that of Foreign countries. You should have a MD/MS in Neurology as the minimum qualification. You will have to complete a course which is accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant i.e ARC-PA. After completing a program accredited by the ARC-PA, you must pass the Physician Assistant National Certifying Exam which is called PANCE. Certified Physician Assistants need to take the Physician Assistant National Recertifying Exam PANRE during the last two years of the six-year certification maintenance or the 10-year certification maintenance cycle.
Dear Ashok, AFMC doesn't have neurology as a specialisation. It doesn't have MS Neurology but has MCh Neurosurgery as a superspeciality. This course is only available for service officers. Any vacant seats left after filling with eligible and qualified Service officers will be given for civilians. Such positions will be filled through relevant entrance examination which is NEET PG.
