For the New Education Policy to be implemented the government will need a number of years and as per information the government has set a target to implement it in another 15-20 years for the entire policy to be implemented.

According to New Education Policy now all Higher Educational Institutions will have only one governing body which regulates all the workflow of all institutions and the name of that body will be Higher Education Commission of India. There will be no effect on UGC affiliation to the Universities

The new educational policy 2020 announced by the government is expected to be implemented completely from the next educational year i.e. 2022. New Educational policy Policy aims for universalise of education from pre-school to secondary level with 100 % Gross Enrolment Ratio (GER) in school education by 2030.
B.ed course is for those who have passed class 12th. They can do integrated B.A bed. But those who have a graduation degree and wanting to B.ed they have 2 year program. For now there is no official announcement about NET is removed or not from the government

To become a lecturer in colleges and universities candidates should possess a post-graduation or doctorate degree in concerned subject from a recognized university. Apart from this, candidates should also clear UGC NET exam. B.Ed is not mandatory for applying for college lecturer post. However you need B.Ed for teaching
