Both are pretty well and good but there are some differences when compared to each other, as New Horizon College of Engineering is an Autonomous college but still under the guidance of VTU but, DSCE is VTU affiliated College . By this we come to know that the New Horizon is capable of maintaining the standard in the academics, co curriculars and placements which is slightly less in DSCE.

Note : The college is declared Autonomous when the academics, no. of placements in college, standard of teaching and all the standards which are set by VTU, if the particular college meets all these standard then they can request VTU by certain procedure to declare it as Autonomous.

Therefore by this we can say New Horizon have slightly upper hand over DSCE.

Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Amazon, TCS, etc. Highest package offered is 30Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 3Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 5-7Lakhs per annum. They have good infrastructure and they the students are provided with good, helpful teaching faculties.

Nitte Meenakshi College have good overall ratings much similar to that of New Horizon. They have good placement records but records are highly inconsistent, average placement record is around 75%. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Wipro, TCS, etc. Highest package offered is 22Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 1.2 Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 3-4Lakhs per annum. They have good infrastructure and they provide us with good and qualified teaching faculties.

Prefer New Horizon over Nitte Meenakshi College.

They have good infrastructure and they provide the students with well qualified teaching faculty.

Prefer BMSIT over New horizon.
