Hey whats the fee structure at NHCE through KCET? for CSE to be precise Is it a good college academic wise? I have heard they unecessarily try to make money by imposing fine on random things. Does it hold true?

Hello,

The fees in New Horizon College of Engineering for admission Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is around 10 lakhs for the entire four year course.
The fees in this college in little bit to the higher side.
But as far as taking extra money is concerned then that is something Internal matter of the college and i don't think there is any college that will take unnecessary money from you.

Manish, you haven't mentioned in which exam have you scored a rank of 116986. But if this is in KCET, we do have the cut off list for KCET Mock Counselling for the year 2019. Unfortunately with this rank you might not get a seat in New Horizon College for Engineering irrespective of your Category. Yes you can change the branch after 1st year as every university give chance to its students for branch changing however procedure for the same varies. First requirent is you have to score really good marks to be able to highlight your name in merit list. After that colleges give chance from first student till their seats get filled of respective departments.

There is two types of cutoff one is eligibility cutoff and second is admission cutoff candidate applying through the jee advanced exam have to score the marks under the released cutoff off to apply for IIST.

IIST cutoff of 2020:-

SC- 36

ST- 36

OBC- 65

NHCE is accredited by NAAC with 'A' grade & National Board of Accreditation (NBA). It carries the legacy of quality education and is Ranked 6 among Top Engineering Colleges in Bangalore as per NIRF Ranking 2020, announced by Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

According to placements wise almost 80 % students get placed evey year.

Avg package offerd is approx 4-6 laks per annum.

after getting registered in cseet do i have to fill any additional examination form?

Hello Nishtha,
If you have Successfully done the Payment and have registered for CSEET and have received the confirmation for the registration, you can now appear for the CSEET as per the schedule sent through email/SMS. You need not fill any additional form for the same.

RV college of Engineering is better than New Horizon College and for getting admission into this colleges you will have option to crack and score well and 2 exams.One is COMEDK and the other is KCET, these exams are gateway for the admission and you can choose to appear in either one or both and eligibility for appearing in these exams is to have 50% marks in 12th board or 2nd PUC.

Hello Aspirant!

You cannot get direct admission to New Horizon College of Engineering, Bengaluru. For that, you'll have to appear in the state level KCET entrance exam (whose cutoff ranges from 8760(CSE) to 46382(AE)), conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority or you can appear in Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority Professional Colleges Association (KRLMPCA) UGCET.
Your class 12th aggregate marks will also be considered. The selection is usually based on the normalized score of both - KCET/KRLMPCA UGCET and Class 12th aggregate.

Eligibility criteria for application:-
For a student of Non-Karnataka board, if he/she has passed his/her 12th standard with one of the language subjects and secured minimum 45% aggregate marks in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/BT/CS/ Electronics/Biology, then he/she is eligible to apply for this college.
