There is no rule saying that BEd certificates have been invalid since 2015 However there was an issue in Rajasthan after a court ruled that for primary teaching posts only BTC or DElEd qualifications were valid and BEd holders were no longer eligible In contrast the BEd degree itself remains

No, that news is not correct. There has been no nationwide invalidation of B.Ed certificates since 2015. However, in some states like Rajasthan, court rulings may restrict B.Ed holders from applying for primary teacher jobs. Otherwise, B.Ed remains valid everywhere.
