sir Im Male in news category. I have scored 96 percentile in jee mains January 2020 can I get seat in warangal nit of cse group?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 2nd Apr, 2020

Hello,

Your expected rank will be around 34760.You can calculate your expected rank using the formula (100-your total percentile)*869010/100

Where 869010 is the total number of candidates appeared in January session.

In April session 1200000 candidates are expected to appear then your expected rank can be calculated by the formula (100-your total percentile)*1200000/100

Your category rank is expected to be in between 4000-8000.In 2019 a candidate with rank 489 belonging to EWS category secured(AP state)seat in National Institute Technology, Warangal in CSE.And a candidate from other state with rank 272 belonging to EWS category secured seat in the same. a candidate from other state with rank 400 belonging to EWS category secured seat in the same.Considering this you may not get seat. However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly. You can also predict the colleges in which you may get seat in by using our JEE main college predictor

hrithik jain 25th Feb, 2020

Hello,

I can suggest you some tips which will help you in preparing better for the same:

1. Check out the last year questions papers: it will help you to analyze a pattern and types of questions they ask in the Paper.

2. Take all the monthly magazine for the whole year: this will help you to read the news faster.

3. Check out the current affairs website/e-paper to get bulletins or short summary of the affairs.

4. Write down notes (but it might take longer time so do it as per the time limit)

5. Make sure that you complete a good amount of reading in a day. Do not go on for reading and remembering the whole news. Look out for a pattern of reading the current affairs which will help you in the exam as you have less time and a lot of syllabus to cover.
