Hello aspirant,
The Union Health Ministry has said that steps for the conduction of the NExT (National Exit Test) are being taken so that it can be conducted in the first half of the year 2023.
NeXT will act as the qualifying final for MBBS students, which they will have to qualify in order to obtain a license to practice modern medicine in the country of India.
So if your MBBS studies are not going to be completed before 2023, yes there is a chance you will have to write the NExt.
wishing you all the best!
Dear aspirant
As the next hadn't come to role till now. NMC had just proposed about the next exam but didn't have specified many others things.
NEXT will come in role from 2023 and 2018 batch will be the first to attend the NEXT exam.
As NEXT exam will be conducted in two phases in which first exam will be for providing mbbs certificate and second one to secure for neet pg seats.
So most probably NEXT paper will have not attempt either you are graduate from india or abroad.
For further details please until it comes into role and NMC gives more clarification about this.
Note Above information is from my knowledge what I had read so far. Actual how it will be conducted no one's know.
All the best
Hello dear aspirant, hope you are doing well.
If you have studied biology for both the standards and have attended practicals and taken exams and have minimum of 50% of marks then irrespective of being an additional subject it will be counted valid. Had it been in 12th and not in 11th then it could've caused problem. Since you have taken in both standards it won't be a problem, just score above 50%.
Hope it helped.
Final year MBBS students have to give this NEXT examination. Because without giving this examination you can't practice in India. And NEXT examination will conduct in first of 2023. So be prepared yourself for this examination dear.
All the best.
