Aditi amrendra Student Expert 31st Jan, 2021
Hello,

MCI recently announced regarding issuance of Eligibility Certificate to students who wish to study MBBS in abroad from 2018 onwards:

The Medical Council of India (MCI) has come out with a new notice making amendments in the Screening Test Regulations, 2002 and also in Eligibility Requirement for taking admission in an undergraduate medical course in a Foreign Medical Institution Regulation, 2002. It says that if a student is eligible as per clause 4 in the Graduate Medical Education Regulation, 1997 and that student clears NEET for admission in any college/university abroad on or after 1st June 2018, then that student does not have to apply for an eligibility certificate and the NEET result shall serve the purpose of the Eligibility Certificate.
Hence , from now, the NEET score of a candidate will serve as the Eligibility Certificate. The student must qualify NEET to be eligible for MBBS in abroad.

I hope this helps.

in the mat exam there is only 5 collage option .... if Im not selected in that 5 collage lists collage then whats the next step... and what can I do ...

theeanonymous 13th Feb, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Based on the score you secure and the cutoff of the colleges ,you will receive interview and GD call letter immediately after the results are declared. In case you do not get call from any of the colleges you have given as your choices, then you can check the cutoff trends in other colleges and based on the score you have got , you can apply separately in those colleges. You can check the cutoffs and list out the colleges you want to apply in other than those 5 options:

Hello candidate,

JEE advanced is one of the toughest examination to crack in the world, and it needs sheer determination, hard work, hand practice sucess to follow.

If you are someone who is attempting JEE advanced for the first time, then he should join a coaching institute which can provide in first basics and then move on to the higher level in a gradual manner as the question hour in such examinations require both knowledge as well as practice.

Allen can be a good coaching institute for your choice, but just make sure that it provides the teaching as per your requirement!!

my son is in 11th grade.i want him to join in iits.i want him to be next sundar pichai.so that he will earn millions of dollars.everyone will respect him.but he wants to do undergraduation in us. i dont want him to do that.then,he wont get much money as iit.everyone will see him as waste.what now?

chinchujoseph1993 3rd Jan, 2021

Hello,

You not everyone has to be a Sundar Pichai to be respected by others. Let your son do what he wants to do. If you force him to get into an IIT when he clearly doesn't want to, he will not be happy and he won't do well there. It will only ruin his life and career.

You can let him go to the USA, there are many good Universities there. He can join a reputed college and do well in a course that he would like to study and I am sure that will help him become successful. And people will respect him for the work that he does. Not everyone who goes to an IIT becomes a Sundar Pichai nor does everyone in an IIT get a huge package. What is most important is that he do something that makes him happy, this will increase his productivity and his work will be recognized in no time.

Provide your support and guidance rather than forcing hom to do something that he doesn't want to.

I am sure he will make you proud one day.

Good Luck

my son is in 11th grade.i want him to beat iit and get a rank in top iits.i want him to be next sundar pichai of google, Amazon or any top company.i want him to give me one million dollars every year.but he wants to do his undergraduation in us. i dont want him to do that. what should I do?

chinchujoseph1993 3rd Jan, 2021

HelloMa'am/Sir,

You should please stop forcing your wishes on the child. Let him decide what he wants to do with it. If incase he follows what you tell him and he doesn't turn out to be successsful, then he may end up blaming you and you may even regret forcing him to aim for an IIT.

I am sure he will become successful in his own ways, provided he is happy and has your support and permission to do what makes him happy. Guide him to become successful in what he wants and not what you want and I am sure he will make you proud one day.

Good Luck.

And stay happy

I have 80% in class 10 and 75% in class 12th. Can I get admission in b.sc biology in agra college next year. I am from general category.

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 31st Dec, 2020

Hi

Admission in Agra College Agra in BSc Biology group is on the basis of marks obtained by you in class 10th and class 12th board examination.

* merit count is used for admission in Agra College Agra.

Merit count

= (percentage of marks obtained by you in class 10th / 2  ) +  class percentage of marks obtained by you in class 12th.

Now,

Your percentage in 10th = 80%

Your percentage in 12 th = 75 %

then your merit count is

= 80 /2 + 75

= 40 + 75

= 115

It's quite difficult to predict that whether he will get admission or not as  cut off merit count for getting admission keeps changing every year depending on  the number of students that applied for admission in the college in that particular year  and the kind of Marks they have in their class 10th and 12th .

But yes,

When we go through previous year trends then with a merit count of 115 you  hold good chances of getting admission in BSC Biology group.

For example,

The cut off merit count for this year for BSC Biology group for admission in Agra College Agra is provided below for different categories :-

*General :-107

*obc :- 93

*sc :- 87

So, you have good chances for admission with a merit count of 115.

Thank you

pdwords Student Expert 30th Dec, 2020

Hello,

You haven't mentioned the name of the university from where you're doing graduation, nevertheless there is option of migration certificate for example in case of IGNOU students they can receive it by paying a certain amount in the form of draft to regional centre, they need to visit the regional centre , showcase the draft and collect the migration certificate which is provided in case of requirement by students going for higher studies, hence you should check out this option with your university.
