If you do CA with B.com then it saves your lots of time. Since the syllabus of B.com is fully covered in CA, then you can easily pass in B.com if you only study dedicatedly for CA.

offcourse  you can give another chance to show your ability ,

but i would suggest you to concentrate on JEE/IIT because they are still more previleaged and you can save your one year also .

Even if you don't get admission in third list, I would suggest you to wait for spot counselling. But at the same time start looking for alternatives too. If you make in the desired college through spot counselling, well and good. If you don't, still you will have an option
