After doing 12th puc arts, what should be my next step in becoming an animal behaviourist. Can I do a psychology degree for my bachelors and then in post grad do a degree in animal psychology?

Karman saini 15th Jan, 2022

Dear Aspirant ,

Yes , in my opinion you should opt for a psychology specialisation/honours degree in your undergraduation.

You should take up online courses in animal behaviourism and animal psychology during your college years itself as side courses to increase ypur knowledge and boost your CV. There are many excellent certificate courses on coursera . Example- there are courses concerning pet pstchologt(cats /dogs) and courses cpncerning behaviours of wild animals , as well as overall animal behaviours.

You can go for bachelors in animal psychology itself if you want to pursue your UG abroad since in India there are no specific animal behaviour or animal psychology courses.

After your bachelors you can then go for Animal Psychology Masters and even PHD in animal behaviour .

Some best universities for a UG ,PG and PHD  courses in this subject are-

1. University of Adelaide

2. University of Lincoln

3. Anglia Ruskin University

4. Arizona State University.

5. Florida Institute of Technology.

Hope this helped !

I have alloted MBA college in cap round 1 of my preference no 3. but I dont want to take admission in that college. am I eligible for next round or it is compulsory that I have to take the admission or any dues or fees required to dont take admission what is the process to apply for 2nd Cap round

Sharon Rose Student Expert 6th Dec, 2021

Hello,

If you do not wish to join in the institute allotted in CAP Round 1 you do not have to report to the ARC for confirmation of the seat acceptance. If you do not report to the ARC for confirmation of the seat acceptance the allotted seat stands cancelled and you cannot claim the seat whatsoever the outcome is after CAP Round 2. You will still be eligible to participate in CAP Round 2 if you do not report ARC for confirmation of the seat allotted in CAP Round 1. So you can choose not to report to the ARC for confirmation of the seat acceptance and participate in CAP Round 2.

hello sir, my ews certificate was issued on 16th march 2021 for financial year 2020-21 on bases of income of financial year 2019-20. so my question is that this ews certificate will be valide to fill the upsc cse 2022 form on 2nd feb 2022 next year, as it is valid for financial year 2020-21

Piyush 4th Dec, 2021

Hello aspirant,

With reference to your above said query, I would like to tell you that your EWS certificate issued on the 16th march, 2021 is not valid in the financial year of 2022 as the EWS certificate is only be valid for every financial year. So, in order to submit your EWS certificate in UPSC exam/registrations , you need to issue a new EWS certificate for the financial year 2022.

However, you can also fill the Undertaking form for EWS certificate available on the official website and can take the admission instantly . Then after 14-17 days you can submit the newly issued EWS certificate in your University.

I hope that it will help.
