Hello,
NIFT Situation Test is conducted for two hours. Your performance will be assessed based on the following parameters
Colour scheme
Space visualization
Construction skill
Innovative and creative use of given material
Finesse of the model
Composition of elements
Overall presentation
You will given a question to design a model with the materials provided and you will be allowed to use any additional or outside material at the time of making the model. After the model is finished you need to explain it in English language. Here are few tips that can help you to perform well in Situation Test
You can practice for the situation test of NIFT by making different models at home.
Improve your observation skills by analyzing different objects.
You must use different kinds of materials while experimenting with various models.

The thing with the situation test is that, we don't have any hard and fast rule to crack it. I feel it is mostly about your presence of mind, material handling skills and creativity.

Yes you are eligible for Design course and the NIFT exam as the eligibility criteria states that the candidate should have completed their 10+2 level exam to be eligible for the design course there is no criteria that you are supposed to complete your 10+2 level in a specific stream for B.Des course. The authority has released the NIFT 2022 application form on December 3, 2021, in online mode - nift.ac.in and it was available till January 17. NIFT Entrance Exam for UG & PG course was conducted on February 6, 2022.

It totally depends on you interest what is more important for you do that thing.
And if you think that by Skipping PT Unit test you will not get affected by anything then you should go for NIFT Entrance test. and as I said Its only you who can take decision for yourself in kind of situation because its only you who knows that what is good for your life.
So Be patience and Do what you really care for.

It is quite difficult to predict the cut off as it depends on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. Every year the cut off changes. The cut off for NIFT 2021 will be released after NIFT counselling is concluded. So we can predict the institutes in which you may get seat based on previous year cut off. Here is the cut off in 2020 for admission to Accessory Design under general category
Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances of getting seat in any of the preferred campuses because the cut off was lower than the rank you have secured. However, you have chances of getting seat in the following institutes in the preferred course
