NIMS University is a Deemed University situated in Jaipur . The university provides various courses under various streams.

The admission is being done on entrance examination and merit based , that depends on the course .

Application mode is online .Students need to visit the official website of the college to fill up the application form.

NiIMS UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE/NEET/UG/NATA/GATE/NEET PG are the entrance exams excepted here ,followed  by counseling.

Whenever you wish to distinguish between two universities then you have to consider some of the fundamental parameters which really matters for shaping a bright future. All these parameters are:

• Infrastructure
• Curriculum
• Faculty
• Placement

Now compared to GIT JAIPUR, NIMS have better infrastructure. The curriculum in NIMS are well balanced compared to GIT although both of them have very similar type of curriculum although NIMS adds some credits to its subject combinations and student training programs. The faculties in GIT are good but the number of expertise in the field i.e., active involvement in research in NIMS is more than that of GIT. Always remember having faculties accustomed with research is really very important to keep yourself updated. Now NIMS and GIT gives similar fashion of placement although the average package in NIMS is better. So I would recommend you to go for NIMS over GIT.

**I would highly recommend you to conduct some research about both the colleges and if you agree then only go for it.

NIMS (National Institute of Medical Sciences)  is a private university located in Jaipur, Rajasthan, It specializes in medical and technical courses. It is also recognized by UGC.

Eligibility : Candidate must have passed 10+2 with PCB/PCM with 50% marks (45% marks for reserved category) i.

Admission Process : Eligible candidates need to appear for the National Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Exam (NIMSEE) conducted by the university. Finally, candidates are selected based on merit and performance in NIMSEE .

NIMS University is a self-financed medical and technical university located in Jaipur.

The curriculum for medical and health sciences is not fully updated .

Top hospitals where few students have placed are Aims and SMS.

Internship and placement opportunities are weak and quite low package is offered .

As the Institution is private the facilities provided by the College are excellent.

Has well equipped laboratories , good library and other facilities.

Hostel facility is also provided but mess food is not good.

College has many blocks each for Engineering , medical etc.

So lastly NIMS is good if you want to study as it has all the facilities available but you want to get placement opportunities from the college that its bad.

As far as Biotechnology is concerned, NIMS University Jaipur is a good Private University with good infrastructure, faculty and research facilties. Jaipur itself is an excellent city for educational purposes. However you should not expect any placement prospects from NIMS Jaipur. I would suggest you to prepare for GATE Exam and pursue an Masters degree in Biotechnology/Biosciences from a reputed higher technical institute in India like Top IITs and IISc Bangalore or maybe a Masters in Bioscience from Delhi University or JNU, after graduation from NIMS Jaipur.
