Yes, you can write the NIOS exam a year after passing 12th standard. Hi dear candidate,

The NIOS board is recognized by the government of India and you can for sure give the NIOS Class XII exams with PCM subjects to appear for JEE exam.

Make sure you score at least 75% aggregate marks to be eligible for JEE exam (for general category).
