b.tech in instrumentation and control engineering , nirma University or electronic and communication engineering in L.D. engineering college , Ahemdabad ? with reasons plz

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 29th Sep, 2020
Hello,

Both the colleges are good but branches matter a lot when it comes to placement and in my personal opinion, instrumentation and control engineering is not a good choice. So, you should go for Lalbhai Dalpatbhai College of Engineering as it is one of the premier engineering college and offers great placement too and also electronics and communication engineering is a good branch to get a placement.

I hope this helps.

can i change my branch after 1 year at Nirma University

Maddula Varshini 25th Sep, 2020

Hello Aspirant,

Yes, you will have chance to change your branch after 1 year. If you willing to do so, you should have good CGPA in currently studying branch i.e., around 9 CGPA. With that score you will have better chances. If your college has enough seats in that branch you will have chance.

Hope this helps you.

All the Best!!!

My merit no. is 421 in ITNU. Will I able to get CSE in nirma university ?

Tunir Sikdar 22nd Sep, 2020

Hi,

I think it will depend on the number of students taking admission.

As of 2019 data, students with 207 got admission in CSE.

As of 2016, it was 521.

No intermediate data is available. But this trend generally varies.

I think there is a good chance that you may get admission in CS.

Hi Joshali,

For CSE, Among LNMIT and Nirma University, LNMIT is better than Nirma University in almost every aspect as LNMIT has better ranking than Nirma University. Next thing is the faculty that is quite better at LNMIT. In terms of placement also LNMIT leads because companies like Microsoft, Google, Oracle, Samsung, Cisco, Flipkart, Amazon, Snapdeal, Adobe, Myntra visit here.
