The Nirma University, Ahmedabad is a good college and well structured.

The recruitment for the placements and for the internships are good. The college library and laboratory has well equiped facilities.

The cut off for Nirma University for MBA admission  is :

The overall percentile in CAT must be 75 to 80 percentile for the general category

The minimum cut-off for each section must be as follows:

Verbal ability and logical reasoning - 50 eprcentile

Quantitative aptitude and data interpretation- 50 percentile

overall figures must be 75 to 80 percentile.


The selection process of Institute of Management includes Theme development and presentation and also personal interviews. The weight-age for each of the component mentioned is as follows:

Common admission test that is CAT - 20 percentage

Personal; interview- 20 percentage

Theme development and presentation- 10 percentage

academic performance- 10 percentage

An addition of 5 points will be given to the candidate with the working experience in a professional organization.

While calculating the academic performance the marks scored in grade 10, grade 12 and the under graduation will be considered.

The marks allotment for each of these is as follows:

For grade 10- 15 percentage

Grade 12 - 25 percentage

Under graduation - 40 percentage wightage is taken.

  • The eligibility criteria to be eligible is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with atleast 45% marks (general category) and 40% marks (SC/ST/OBC) with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer/ Vocational subject.
  • The admission is based on the merit secured in JEE main or GUJCET entrance examination.

Greetings!

Yes, of course you can take admission in Nirma university through GUJCET in btech as nirma University accepts both jee mains and GUJCET for providing admission in btech. All the B.Tech admission at Nirma University will be on the basis of merit and no admission test is conducted. Out of the total seats available, 50% seats is filled by ACPC, Gujarat and candidates are required to fill the application form through ACPC . In remaining 50% seats, 35% seats are filled by JEE Main/ GUJCET score and 15% seats are filled by NRI candidates. To be eligible for admission you should  have studied Physics and Mathematics in 10+2 or equivalent exam along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Computer/ Vocational Subject with minimum 45% marks for General category. For candidates belonging to SC/ SEBC categories, 40% is required for the same.

Hello Aspirant,

NIRMA University is one of best and reputed b-School in India It offers two programs mainly

PGDM and PGDM in HRM

For getting admission to these two programs you have to give CAT exam and try to get 80 percentile in it ,Since last percentile was 79 so be on safer side try to get more from the last year percentile

After your got shortlisted you were called for Interview and TDP (Theme development and Presentation)

And finally your selection will be made according to the aggregate score of all the processes which are as follows -:

CAT EXAM - 60

TDP and INTERVIEW - 30 (20 for interview and 10 for TDP)

Past academic performance - 10

In these 10 marks

graduation - 50%

XIIth - 30%

Xth - 20%

If you have have work experience you will get extra marks.

Hello dear student,

It is a good choice to do MBA from this university as it ranks in 19th number all over India in the list of top MBA colleges in India 2019. Its fees is even not that when compared to IIM Ahmedabad. I hope you are aware it is a private college. It is a state University and it is a good option to do MBA from this university. I hope this is helpful to you .

hi,

nirma university has various undergraduate courses. and top 50 students from each branches are shortlisted after the admission process according to their academic score. so there is no specific mention of 10th or 12th number based upon which you may get scholarship.

if you have 80 percentage of marks in both 10th and 12th, there is fair chances to get scholarship.

nirma university is a private university in ahmedabad, and there is no 6 years course available. most of the bachelor course in 4 years if you take engineering.
