can I use epan for signature verification for my nmat exam?

Sudeshna Dutta 22nd Oct, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

You may not be aware that you may also use an e-PAN card for transactions. Permanent Account Numbers may now be obtained online! e-PAN is now valid in order to obtain a Permanent Account Number, according to a document published by the Income Tax Department's Tax Information Network. This is due to amendments to clause (C) of subsection (8) of Section 139A of the Income Tax Act of 1961 and rule (6) of Rule 114 of the Income Tax Rules of 1962, according to the document.

According to the department, an e-PAN card is a PAN card that has a digital signature and is issued in an electronic version rather than a paper one. By using Aadhaar e-KYC, one may get an e-PAN.
It should be mentioned that after submitting an application, the applicant will be provided with a 15-digit acknowledgment number. As soon as the online PAN application is successfully filed, a unique number is assigned to the applicant. Using this phone number, you may also keep track of the e-Filing Portal.

Hope you got the answer to your question. Incase of any queries, feel free to question. Have a great day!

My NMAT scores are as follows : QA-50, LS-83, LR- 72 with a total score of 205 in my first attempt. What are my chances of getting a call from NMIMS other than the Mumbai campus?

Vipul Vaibhav 25th Nov, 2021

Heyy Dibya,

The expected cut-off for NMAT 2021 could be somewhere between 205-250 marks. It is 79+ for Logical reasoning, 73+ for Quantitative Aptitude and 85+ for Language skills. Since these are the expected cut-offs, it will be good if you take a reattempt, if you have reattempts left.

Heyy Nikitha,

The expected cut-off for NMAT this year is somewhere between 205-250 overall. Talking about each sections, it is 79+ for Logical Reasoning, 73+ for Quantitative Aptitude and  85+ for Language Skills. Even though you fall in the safe bracket, if we consider your over-all score. But these are expected cut-offs. So it will be better to take a reattempt.

i have scored 163 in nmat main exam and Im from general category can i get the admission in nmims with this score

Sohana Khan 9th Nov, 2021

Hii Priya,

Hope you are doing well.

In general, a score ranging from 230 - 240 is equivalent to 99 percentile in NMAT. 95 percentile: Candidates who have scaled scores in the range of 210 - 215 usually get a 95+ percentile score in NMAT. 90 percentile: A score above 200 is generally required for a 90+ percentile in NMAT .

Anything above 200+ could make you to any of the B-schools of India, but lower than that cannot secure you B-schools.

For your score comparison to rank and for admission to NMIMS, refer to the link below:
