I got 45% in 10th, 49% in 12th, 65% in graduaction, if i get 220 in NMAT and perform good in GDPI, would my seat be secured in NMIMS mumbai?

aditya 6th May, 2021

Dear aspirant

I hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that nmat have sectional cutt off procedure too which means you should marks greater than cut off each section which is 75+ in each section . In overall cut off, your score is very good and you holds high chances of getting a call. For getting name in merit list , academics profile is also considered which is low in your case as your marks are not even 60percent in 10+2. I would suggest you to prepare very hard for gd and pi and rest leave on your destiny

Hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future

I m really in baffled state, theres nowhere mentioned in msu, baroda s brochure about CMAT for bba admission. But one of your expert told me it is required with certain percentile. So can you pls give more information regarding CMAT, its preparations and subjects included?

snehasinha1718 Student Expert 15th Apr, 2021

Hey,

CMAT stands for Common Management Admission Test  and is conducted to get admission in various management programmes.  It is purely done for admissions in master programmes and not for BBA. Whereas admission for bba in MSU, Baroda is done through an entrance followed by an interview both of which is conducted by the college itself  . You need to apply for it online in their official website. The minimum eligibility criteria for the same is to have atleast 50% aggregate in your  12th.

I hope this helps.

Hello student in this case surely you'll get the proper resolution from institution as it's not your fault. But as it's upto college who took the final decision if you wish you can take this to court and file a legal suit because it's about your academic year.

Feel free to comment if you've any doubt

Good luck

my brother gave his nmat today and realised he missed out filling the nmims form. can he apply for retake and then apply for nmims together with it?

anirudha vats 30th Mar, 2021

Hi,

Well if he forgot to apply for NMIMS during the registration process then he won't be able to take admission cause he won't be considered for that college. If there is an option of exam retake then you will have to register again and fill in the choice for NMIMS. That way you will be able to take admission there.

I hope this helps.

All the best.
