I have given my last attempt of NMAT exam and scored 230, my sectional cut-off stands as - 72 (QA), 73 (LR), 85(LS), so what are my chances of getting a call from NMIMS, Mumbai campus considering the change in pattern and the speculation that this year the cut-off will be slight high.

Hello Aspirant,

It is true that cutoffs will be higher than last year for top MBA institutes. But your NMAT score is pretty good ,so surely get in good colleges. The possibilities may depend on the the MBA branch you opt for ,the number of seats available and number of applicants in colleges. Talking about NMIMS ,they may ask for 75 and above in all 3 sections ,so in that case your chances may be little low. Anyways you can sure apply and perform well in case discussion and personal interview rounds to improve your chances.

i got 203 marks in nmat. Is there is any chance of getting call from any campus of NMIMS?

Koustav Dey 4th Feb, 2021

Hello,

As per the cut off of NMAT, a general candidate need to score around 90 percentile or more to get in any campus of NMIMS. The expected cut off this year in NMAT is:

  • Logical: 65-70
  • Quants: 70-75
  • Language : 62-65
  • Overall: 210-220

Since, your score is 203, so your chance of getting a seat in NMIMS is very low. But, if you have any category quota then your chance of securing a seat will increase.

Hope it helps!

My NMAT 2021 score is 231. Do I have any chance at NMIMS Mumbai with the new adadptive testing paper?

Koustav Dey 3rd Feb, 2021

Hello,

Based on previous years trend, the sectional cutoff of NMAT in NMIMS Mumbai is:

  • Verbal: 54-56
  • Quant: 72-74
  • Logical: 60

So, in order to clear the cut off you need to score marks over 210-220. Then only, you will be eligible for the next rounds of selection that is Case Discussion and Personal Interview Round.

So, after clearing the cut off you need to perform well in the CD and PI round to secure a seat in NIIMS.

Hope it helps!

good luck!

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th Dec, 2020

You will need to take with you your Confirmation email printout ot on mobile device. According to the official website https://www.nmat.org/nmat-by-gmac-exam-terms-and-conditions/, it says that you will need:

1. Confirmation email printout ot on mobile device.

2. Admit Card

3. Any other document as advised by GMGC for PWD Candidates

4. Valid Photo Id and another Signature Id.

Rule 16.5 says that Candidates who are unable to produce these documents will not be admitted into the testing room and also not be offered a test fee refund. So Confirmation mail is important. Please check your spam folder and if you haven't received it there as well, you have to reach out to them at: nmatbygmacsupport@merittrac.com (mailto:nmatbygmacsupport@merittrac.com)

For retake of NMAT exam, is confirmation letter resent again? because I didnt receive any confirmation letter for the retake of exam though I received it during my first attempt.

priyaankasarkar Student Expert 20th Dec, 2020

You have to wait for 15 days before you retake NMAT exam from the last time you attempted it. You can retake NMAT exam twice during the 90 day test window. So though you can register after 24 hours for a retake, you can only appear for the exam after 15 calendar days. The confirmation mail depends on the slot availability. So please check if you fall within the 15 calendar days time slot and also 3 attempts within 90 days. You can also reach out to the helpdesk at: nmatbygmacsupport@merittrac.com

The application fee is also very minimal which is of Rs. 100/-.

Complete application process for SC CHSL is described below :-

  • On submission of the registration form, your registration ID and password will be generated.
  • Now you should proceed to upload your photograph and signature. The size of the photograph should be between 4 KB to 20 KB while signature should be 1 KB to 12KB.
  • To fill other details in SSC CHSL application form, you have to login with your password and registration ID which which was obtained in Step 3.
  • After filling the application form, you have to pay your examination fees either online or offline which is only Rs. 100/- but note that for payment last date is January 1st 2021.
  • On successful fee payment, the application process is complete and then you should take printout of SSC CHSL application form.
