Hope this helps!

manisha.gupta 28th May, 2019

Hello Aspirant,

Based on this rank the chances are less to get a seat With this rank the chances are very less to get a seat through JAC Delhi Counselling. You can try for the state level counselling. To know your admission possibilities in other state level colleges you can use JEE Main College Predictor tool given below.

IN JEE MAINS I GOT CRL 47063 AND OBC 12128 ,IN JAC COUNSELLING FOR ADMISSION INTO IIITD, NSIT & DTU WHICH RANK WILL BE CONSIDERED

Aryan 20th May, 2019

Hey Margani Rohith, You have scored 47063 Rank in Common Rank List in JEE MAINS and you also belong to OBC Category. That will be very helpful for your admission into any government funding technical institute(gfti) as in each and every institute some seats are being reserved for OBC category.

In JAC counseling and even in JOSSA counseling your both the ranks will be considered but your OBC Rank will be mainly used there and don't forget to take your OBC Certificate there so as for proper verification of the certificate and results.

Sorry to say but you can neither get a seat in DTU nor in NSIT in further rounds as there is a wide difference between your rank and their previous year cutoffs.

My Merit list is 5856 in NPAT (UG) and Can I get admission in B. Tech in computer science in mumbai campus of (MPSTME)?

Raushan Kumar 17th Jun, 2018

Hello Shivam,

Thanks for the A2A. First of all sit back, take a deep breadth and relax. You did what you had to in the exam, there is no need to be worried about what rank you would score because no one can predict that.

Your rank is completely subjective to other mates who gave the exam with you, you might be in the top 100 or the top 1000 you never know. What I can tell you is four years back when I came for my admission to the college, my rank was 1329 and I was comfortably able to secure a seat in the computer engineering department.

But again that was in 2013, competition has increased a lot in the last four years I believe.

Answering your question as to which branch you should be applying to, I would say it is completely your decision. Do not come under the false impression of “scope” which your parents or relatives might give you about different branches. Whatever branch you take you would be creating your own opportunities there. So listen to yourself and go ahead with what you think is best after an in depth research.

Best of luck for your future endeavours
