NSUT
Hi student,
CRL(Common Rank List) rank is the rank that you are getting from competing with students all over India while SC category rank is the rank that you are getting from competing with all SC category students all over India.
At CRL rank 787369 and SC rank 69420 it is impossible to get any of the branch in NSUT, Delhi. You can try for state level lower cutoff colleges or private colleges.

Hi aspirant, on the behalf of your question let me tell you first of all tjat CRL means Common Rank List it is the common and is prepared for all candidates appearing for the exam without mentioning any caste category, it is common to all, whereas SC rank list us the list that is issued in the SC category students or yoou can say that SC rank in CRL means SC rank is issued to arrange the order of first to last in SC category students
Secondly sorry to say but on this rank you won't get any chance of getting NSUT.
You should try for anyother college.

I think NSUT DELHI cse branch better then YMCA Faridabad.because Delhi is better city then Faridabad so you get more opportunities.and placement of NSUT Delhi also more than YMCA.And for abroad study if you study from Delhi then it also helps you.and also you get more opportunity Of extra curricular activities in NSUT DELHI.

Hey aspirant!
You have not written which entrance exam's rank you have mentioned.
If this is your JEE MAINS rank then, you can get CSE in DTU but in EWS Category. Last year's cut off closing rank of DTU for CSE for general category was 2866, and that for EWS was 4093. So, it is difficult for you to get admission through your general category rank, but you can get admission through your EWS rank.
Now for NSUT, the last year's cut off closing rank for CSE for general category was 2336 ( for home state) and 1121(for other state). And the same for EWS category was 5974 (for home state) and 1501 (for other state). So, in this case you can get admission through your EWS rank but only if you belong to the same state. Your chances are very less for other categories.
You can also use the JEE MAIN predictor to check other colleges you might get in:-
Hope this helps.
All the best!
I believe IIT Delhi Mechanical Engineering will provide you better exposure having excellent Infrastructure, Faculty and Research Facilities, Placements and Outlook. You will land yourself in a sea of opportunities once in IIT. It will hence be your responsibility to cultivate your interests and nurture them to expertise. As far as IT/Software/Finance prospects are concerned, opportunities in them perhaps bloom at IITD Campus, during placement season and you can always find a way to pursue your interests once you master them. Major recruiters from Dept of Mechanical Engineering at IITD are ITC, Reliance, HUL, P&G, Mercedes Benz R&D, Boeing, ISRO, AT Kearney, BCG, Applied Materials, Microsoft, Goldman Sachs and various MnCs and technological institutions from different domains of industry.

Hello ashisheeeeee , Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi is best because if you go for it then the tag of IIT is with you but NSUT cse is also good because it is in the top 7 best college list after IITs so its totally depend on interest because after CSE there are various career options but after Mechanical there are list options but from IIT Delhi there are various placements and all.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
Hello Aspirant,
According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you have no chances of getting into either of the college from NSUT or DTU as per previous year's cut-off. As cut-offs for this year is not declared yet so we can guide you on the basis of previous year's cut-offs which are given below :-
NSUT - 25880 was the closing rank last year
DTU - 26724 was the closing rank last year
For complete details about previous year's cut-offs refer the link given below :-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jac-delhi-merit-list
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
However I would recommend you to use JEE-Main College Predictor to predict the chances of your admission in different colleges based upon your percentile and category :-
Good Luck!!
Hi there,
Firstly IIT delhi electrical engineering power and automation is better than cse at nsut for the following reasons
Apart from these if you want to become a software developer then go for nsut, overall nsut is also a good college.
I hope this helps
