NSUT
Hi Shreya,
IIITD and NSUT both are Delhi Government College. NSUT is much older and has a great alumni network, whereas IIITD is relatively new.
Both the colleges are more or less similar when it comes to placements (only comparing CSE).
IIITD's curriculum is much better than NSUT's curriculum. IIITD offers interdisciplinary courses as well (A student can take ECE/CSE/Bio/Design/SocialScience courses irrespective of their branch, but you should complete some credits of your branch too). Also, you can make your personalized course structure in the last two years. Also, IIITD is a research-based institute. So, academically IIITD is better. All the professors are PhD scholars from some top universities of the world. They are very helpful.
Hope it helps,
Thank you!
Hello,
NETAJI SUBHAS INSTITUTION OF TECHNOLOGY is a leading institution for technical education which affiliated to University of Delhi , NSIT is better than all the NITS and few IITS ,if you compare placements , NSIT is undoubtedly one of the best in the country
thank you hope it was helpful to you and all the best for your bright future
hello,
I am a student of NIT trichy, B.tech. I will definitely recommend NIT trichy over others, because of its high ranking and it has continued to be the top NIT.
This year, it managed to retain its position and also got a NIRF ranking of 9.
placement statistics are also great. NIT surathkal, the second NIT in terms of rank, can also be considered a good choice for CSE branch.
hello there!
yes all the stuff related to upgradation, branch changing happens after 1st semester and reamains so for the rest of the 4 years.
yes, you can change your branch, but it is to make sure you have not freezed your branch in your first year, there will come time in DTU first year where you willbe asked to freeze your branch if haven't freezed your branch. then, it is must you should not have any back in first year and there will be option you can change your branch. But the important thing is if seat of above preference is vacant and your jee mains marks should be good than other student who has same preferance as of yours.
Thus now if your jee mains marks are better than others and seat is vacant, you will get the above preferred branch.
Hi
Since you haven't mentioned your home state and category, please refer the link below, and put in your details to get the cutoff ranks for each branch.
https://www.careers360.com/university/netaji-subhas-university-of-technology-new-delhi/cut-off?college_id=3653&exam_sub_exam_id=2&ici=college_view_cutoffs&counselling_id=524&category_of_admission_id=2&caste_id=2
Also, the above link contains ranks. To go from percentile to rank, use the following formula
rank = (100-p)/100 * 9.34 lakhs where p is the percentile, and 9.34 lakhs is roughly the number of students who appeared for JEE Mains Paper 1
