I scored good marks in rrb ntpc cbt1 but I have mistakenly entered ews category while as I am open merit. will it effect me? please someone clarify

fayaz Student Expert 21st Aug, 2021

hello asif!!

congratulations for scoring good marks in RRB .

As you have given your category as EWS, till the time of document verification you have time to get the EWS certificate proof.By then please kindly make sure to have the certificate anyhow.

If not able to get , then kindly score very good marks so that you clear the exam with more marks than the open category cutoff. Wait for further stages , if they give any option for corrections, if not then during document verification you will have a slightest chance to put forward your problem there and it will lie upto the authorities discretion whether to accept or not.

rest hope for the best

thank you and all the best

In rrb ntpc exam hall ticket, do we have to paste the colour photograph before entering exam hall or after entering exam hall in the presence of invigilator

Shrishty sahu 15th Feb, 2021

Dear student,

You need to paste your colored photograph on your ntpc examination hall ticket before entering into the examination hall. The authorities will only check your hall ticket and will not tell you to paste your photograph in front of them. Along with your hall ticket you need to carry one valid photo ID proof for the verification purposes along with two passport size photographs.

List of valid Photo ID proof that can be carried at the exam centre are:

  • Aadhaar card
  • Voter ID card
  • Pan card
  • Driving license

  • Passport

sir i applied for rrb ntpc 2019 from ews section. but yet i dont make an ews certificate so what to do . should i apply now for ews certificate.

ARYAN SAGAR 8th Feb, 2021
Dear student,

As you have applied for rrb ntpc 2019 from ews section, then you have to produce an ews certificate. Because an ews certificate is valid for 1 year. Also, note that, even if you haven't made ews certificate, then you can be in great danger. So it is necessary with immediate effect to make am ews certificate and have to produce before them. Make the certificate as soon as possible. Otherwise your candidature can be canceled. And then you cannot appear for rrb ntpc exam ever.

i used my father name-Krishna Rao(absence of surname) in rrb ntpc online registration, but in my 10th class certificate my father name-Dodla Krishna Rao (used surname Dodla)...is any problem during document verification?

Ayush 23rd Jan, 2021

Hello Candidate,

There will not me a problem of of name defect during your counselling and registration process, as documents such as the Aadhar card, or birth certificate will clearly signify your father's name.

There are less chances that the officials will question upon your father details, and if they do you can provide them the documents with correct information.

Have a good day. All the best!!
