You should contact respective school authority or exam centre where you submitted the form and apply for correction in name. Else it will create a problem in future to avail scholarship.
So immediately contact respective school authority and get it corrected.

Hi Hriden, For your reference the NTSE exam is considered to be one of the most prestigious exams for students in 10th standards to get further scholarships and assistance in admission criteria. I have myself given the same exam but we are not allowed to carry the question paper back to our home. They are collected by the teachers of the organizing schools itself.

NTSE is conducted in two stages, stage 1 and stage 2. The expected cut off in 2020 for NTSE Punjab stage 1 for general category is in between 130-140 marks.So you need to get minimum cut off marks to qualify for stage 2.However, cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease slightly.

You have not mentioned the your State name. However, here the expected cutoff marks for different states to qualify to NTSE stage 2:
Maharashtra: 167-175
Haryana: 156-161
Chattisgarh: 145-150
Uttar Pradesh: 166-171
Rajasthan: 178-183
Odisha: 155-160
Punjab: 127-132
Gujarat: 179-186
Delhi: 180-190
Madhya Pradesh: 175-180
You also need to get minimum 40% in both MAT and SAT exams inorder to qualify (incase of general catergory). For SC/ST/PH minimum percentge required is 32% in both MAT and SAT. Now the corresponding marks to this 40% and 32% varies every year depending on various factors such as difficulty of exam, marks of the topper etc.

Hi there,
NTSE stage 2 exam will take place on May 10th 2020. Unlike the stage 1 exam which is dine by SCERT, Stage 2 exam is conducted by NCERT. Exam centers for stage 2 will be provided bybNCERT.
Candidates can choose the exam centers before the release of admit card.Around 37 or more exam centers will be available for stage 2.It is better to choose the centers in which candiadte can reach on time.
