Do chemical engineering has decent vacancies in iocl,ongc,npcil.

Hello jagadeesh,

As far as i know companies you mentioned above hire a good no of chemical engineer with maximum vacancies coming from indian oil corporation and ongc, average CTC of iocl and ongc is around 12 lpa for a fresher but it also depends on individual to individual , some can get high packages depending upon colleges , performance etc for a fresher, also it may vary from 35-60k for these companies especially ongc at around 60k , generally Rs.24900.00 as basic pay + DA (current rate around 110%) + cafeteria (max. upto 48.5% of basic pay) + Conveyance allowance (approx. 5k) + Medical charges (as and when required) per month.

What shall be chosen between NITIE or NPCIL ?

At NITIE you wil be having the best techno managerial skills and the institute is very old so you can have the better exposure and learning. Also the placement is very good and the highest package offered was 30+ laks per anuum so it is a great deal to have. NPCIL is also a large govt. sector operating India's major nuclear plants. It is also a very good organization to join with. So you have good options you can choose anyone and also you can prefer NITIE as well. I scored 559 with 6182 rank and 59.33 marks in EE gen category. Should i get call from npcil or from any other psu.thanks in advance.

Hey Aryan.

See the marks u have scored is not enough for u to get a call from the PSUs for pushing ur job career. U can still Apply for the NITs for pursuing ur higher studies in the field of ur interest. U can also opt for other state colleges and private institutions for ur MTECH career.

The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) has announced its recruitment through GATE 2017/ 2018.The application forms for the NPCIL Recruitment through GATE 2017/2018 will be available tentatively from March 27, 2018 onwards ten days after the announcement of the GATE result.The Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) is a PSU under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India. Graduates in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Instrumentation/ Chemical/ Electronics & Communication /Civil Engineering with valid GATE 2017/2018 scores will be eligible to apply.Only Male applicants (OBC/Gen) will have to pay the application fee of Rs 500 online.There is no fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ Female applicants.

PSU predictor shows high chances for NPCIL for CE but NPCIL didnt declare any recruitment how could carrier 360 score predictor predicted?

You are wrong. NPCIL has declared the recruitment for candidates via GATE 2017 and 2018. The application dates for this are not yet in. They will be available after declaration of the GATE result on March 17. Check here for the ad (it is both in Hindi and then in English). However the PSU predictor uses the past trends to predict the chances.
